OZONE GENERATION APPARATUS
In an ozone generation apparatus, a discharge cell includes a first electrode part, a second electrode part, and a dielectric partition plate. The first electrode part and the second electrode part face each other, and the dielectric partition plate is provided between the first and second electrode parts.
Ozone Cell Power Supply Apparatus and Method
The present invention generally includes an ozone generation system with a power supply that measures the rate of energy delivered to the ozone generation cell. While changing voltage, frequency or current will likely affect the rate of energy delivery, current, frequency and voltage provide a very poor and unreliable control for an ozone generation cell. It is only through control of the rate of energy delivery that consistent, reliable ozone generation is possible. Based upon the measurements of the rate of energy delivery as measured at the ozone generation cell, compared to the rate of energy delivery supplied, the rate of energy delivery supplied can be adjusted to improve ozone production and control.
Piezoelectric Transformer
In an embodiment a method includes applying an AC voltage to an input region, converting, by the input region, the AC voltage into a mechanical oscillation, converting, by an output region, the mechanical oscillation into an electrical voltage and igniting a plasma at an output-side end side of an piezoelectric transformer, wherein the piezoelectric transformer includes the input region and the output region, wherein the piezoelectric transformer includes a longest edge and a shortest edge, and wherein the longest edge has a length that is twenty times a length of the shortest edge or less.

Energy-efficient plasma processes of generating free charges, ozone, and light
Embodiments of the present invention describe the formation of a current source, a light source, and an ozone generator by using a coated double dielectric barrier discharge system (CDDBD). A system for generating charge may include a CDDBD having at least two electrodes that are separated by a gap filled with a gas medium, wherein each of the at least two electrodes are covered with an insulator that prevents charges in the at least two electrodes from passing through the gas medium, and wherein surfaces of each of the at least two insulators are coated with a material having a secondary electron emission coefficient higher than a material of the insulator. Furthermore, the system for generating the charge may also include a power supply coupled with the CDDBD device that supplies energy to the CDDBD device to form an initial electric field.
Wet electrostatic gas cleaning system with non-thermal plasma for NOx reduction in exhaust
An apparatus and method of generating ozone and its incorporation into a system apparatus and method of cleaning exhaust gasses from fossil fuel burning boilers and/or furnaces are disclosed.
