A cooperative fuzzy-neural control method is designed in this present invention. Due to the difficulty for cooperatively controlling the concentrations of the dissolved oxygen and nitrate nitrogen in wastewater treatment process, a cooperative fuzzy-neural control method is investigated. In this proposed method, firstly, a interval type-2 fuzzy neural network is employed to construct the cooperative fuzzy-neural controller. Secondly, a parameter cooperative strategy is proposed to cooperatively optimize the global and local parameters of the cooperative fuzzy-neural controller to meet the control requirements. This proposed cooperative fuzzy-neural control method can cooperatively control the concentrations of the dissolved oxygen and nitrate nitrogen in wastewater treatment process. The results illustrate that the proposed cooperative fuzzy-neural control method can achieve the high control accuracy and guarantee the normal operations of wastewater treatment process under the different operation conditions.

CONTAINER-TYPE APPARATUS WITH A SUSPENDED PARTICLE SYSTEM FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT

A container-type apparatus for wastewater treatment with a suspended particle system, including one or multiple biological reaction zones. The biological reaction zones can be facultative, anaerobic, anoxic, and aerobic and at least one of the biological reaction zones is a suspended particle system. Particles in the suspended particle system act as the carrier of microbiota and offer better conditions for them to grow. The apparatus adopts a box structure, such as a container type, which is convenient to move, flexible to assemble, and can be used multiple times. Based on actual requirements, this apparatus can also be a structure type. The suspended particle system can increase the concentration of microorganisms significantly, improve the ability to bear impact load, produce less sludge, and without sludge expansion.

Method and system for treating brine waste water

The present invention relates to a method for zero-release treatment of brine waste water, comprising: (1) pretreatment; (2) reverse osmosis treatment; (3) advanced oxidation treatment; (4) biochemical treatment; (5) electrodialysis concentration; (6) circulating crystallization. Compared with the prior art, the method for zero-release treatment of brine waste water provided in the present invention realizes zero release or near zero release of waste water, improves salt recovery efficiency, can recover high-quality sodium sulfate, mirabilite and sodium chloride, and turns crystalline salts into a resource; the membrane treatment unit can operates stably in the process for a long operation period at a low cost, and the entire process has high economic efficiency.

PHYSICO-CHEMICAL PROCESS FOR REMOVAL OF NITROGEN SPECIES FROM RECIRCULATED AQUACULTURE SYSTEMS

The present invention provides processes for removing nitrogen species from fresh water or high salinity water recirculated aquaculture systems. The processes are based on physico-chemical treatments which are performed at ambient temperatures and at low pH values thus keeping the total ammonia nitrogen concentrations below a value which is considered detrimental for the growth or survival rate of cultured fish/shrimp.

PROCESS FOR ELIMINATING HYDROGEN SULFIDE IN AN AMMONIUM SULFATE SOLUTION
20240042381 · 2024-02-08 ·

A process for substantially removing hydrogen sulfide from an ammonium sulfate solution. The process involves maintaining the pH of the solution to a range that optimally removes entrained hydrogen sulfide. The hydrogen sulfide is then reacted with sulfites, bisulfites, or sulfur dioxide to form ammonium thiosulfate.
