The system includes: a filter information storage unit storing information regarding an in-service filter used in the household water treatment apparatus; an information receiver receiving information regarding performance change of the in-service filter from the household water treatment apparatus; and a water type estimation means that estimates a water type of the water before treatment based on the information regarding performance change and the information regarding the in-service filter. A management method for a water treatment device that serves as a management method for water treatment equipment provided with a plurality of water treatment devices on each of which a plurality of water treatment members is mounted includes performing life expectancy estimation processing to estimate a life expectancy of each water treatment member based on history information of each water treatment member, the history information being updatable as needed, and performing external life expectancy homogenization processing to replace corresponding water treatment members with each other among a plurality of water treatment devices at a predetermined period so that other water treatment members each having a life expectancy within a predetermined range with respect to the life expectancy of each water treatment member estimated in the life expectancy estimation processing are mounted in an identical water treatment device.

A first flow path is defined through the filter cartridge separating the first chamber and the second chamber. A method for automated cleaning of a filter basket in a bioreactor includes determining permeability of the filter basket. A control unit controls a suction unit for suctioning a residual liquid from the liquid tank, a liquid metering unit for dispensing a liquid having a predetermined liquid volume into the filter basket controls the suction unit to empty the liquid tank by suctioning a filtered liquid volume, measures the volume of the suctioned liquid volume, and sending a first measurement signal to the control unit. The control unit determines a permeability quotient from the volume of the extracted filtered liquid volume to the volume of the dispensed predetermined liquid volume and compares the permeability quotient with a permeability threshold. The control unit then controls a cleaning unit to perform a cleaning process of the filter basket if the permeability quotient is below the permeability threshold.

A history management method for water treatment members includes: a first step of, during a shipping process of placing each water treatment member in the accommodating member, registering each water treatment member identification information in the information recording section of an information management device in association with accommodating member identification information for the accommodating member and attaching, to the accommodating member, a tag from which the accommodating member identification information is readable; and a second step of, during a receiving process of attaching each water treatment member accommodated in the accommodating member to the water treatment apparatus, registering the water treatment member identification information, which is obtained from the information recording section based on the accommodating member identification information read from the tag, in the information recording section in association with water treatment apparatus identification information for the water treatment apparatus.
