SYSTEMS AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING ELECTROLYZED ALKALINE AND OXIDIZING WATER
The present invention relates to systems and methods for cleaning materials, such as flooring and upholstery. In some cases, the systems and methods use an electrolytic cell to electrolyze a solution comprising sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium acetate, sodium percarbonate, potassium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate, and/or any other suitable chemical to generate electrolyzed alkaline water and/or electrolyzed oxidizing water. In some cases, the cell comprises a recirculation loop that recirculates anolyte through an anode compartment of the cell. In some cases, the cell further comprises a senor and a processor, where the processor is configured to automatically change an operation of the cell, based on a reading from the sensor. In some cases, a fluid flows past a magnet before entering the cell.
In some additional cases, fluid from the cell is conditioned by being split into multiple conduits that run in proximity to each other. Additional implementations are described.
Water Salinizer
An article of manufacture for providing a water salinizer to add salt to pool water is disclosed. The water salinizer includes a barrel having a sidewall, a convex bottom, an angled sidewall between the convex bottom and the side wall, and an opening is a top surface for dissolving material into water, an input port coupled to the angled sidewall and being configured with the convex bottom to direct an incoming pressurized water stream and salt around the barrel along the angled sidewall, and a discharge port coupled to the sidewall about the opening in the top surface on an opposite side of the barrel from the input port.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT FLUID TREATMENT DEVICE
An ultraviolet light fluid treatment device includes an inlet, an outlet, a primary conduit, a secondary conduit, and a light source. The primary conduit connects the inlet and the outlet. The secondary conduit branches off the primary conduit at a first location of the primary conduit and merged with the primary conduit at a second location of the primary conduit. The light source is disposed between the primary conduit and the secondary conduit and configured to emit ultraviolet light, with which a region in the primary conduit is irradiated. A cross-sectional area in the primary conduit orthogonal to a first flow direction of a fluid in the primary conduit at the first location is greater than a cross-sectional area in the secondary conduit orthogonal to a second flow direction of the fluid in the secondary conduit at the first location.
Method of using nanofiltration and reverse osmosis to remove chemical contaminants
A method of removing chemical contaminants from a composition comprising an active, a solvent, and a contaminant can include providing an initial feed supply, wherein the initial feed supply comprises the active, the solvent, and the contaminant, wherein the contaminant can include 1,4 dioxane, dimethyl dioxane, or a combination thereof; including filtering the initial feed stock through a nanofilter and using reverse osmosis.
Sterilizing device
A sterilizing device includes a pipe having an inlet and an outlet and allowing fluid to move therethrough and a light source provided on one side of the pipe and providing light to the fluid. At least a portion of the pipe is provided in a spiral shape and the inlet and/or the outlet are arranged in a light emitting region.
ALTERNATING CASCADED SYSTEM FOR HIGH-SALINITY WASTEWATER TREATMENT
An alternating cascaded system for high-salinity wastewater treatment includes a pollutant removal system and an alternating cascaded water conveyance system embedded in the pollutant removal system. The pollutant removal system includes four partition plates, a pollutant removal zone and a discharge sump; and the alternating cascaded water conveyance system includes feed water distribution channels disposed under a feed water conveyer pipe and on an outer wall of a first pollutant removal subzone, cleaning water distribution channels disposed on an outer wall of a third pollutant removal subzone and located under a cleaning water pipe, and a purified water discharge pipe and a cleaning water discharge pipe that are located in the discharge sump and axially have a same discharge direction from top to bottom.
Device comprising a reactor facility and method for the electrolytic treatment, with relation to flow dynamics, of fluid or gaseous media or mixtures of the two in the reactor facility, and use of the device and the method
The invention relates to a device consisting of a reactor facility for the electrolytic treatment, with relation to flow dynamics, of fluid or gaseous media or mixtures of the two. In the context of this invention, electrolytic treatment with relation to flow dynamics means the combination of the production of at least one rotating fluid eddy and the eversion of the eddy by means of electrolysis taking place in the reactor facility. The guided fluid eddy is efficiently treated, cleaned and disinfected by this combination in the reactor facility according to the invention. The invention further relates to a method for the electrolytic treatment, with relation to flow dynamics, of fluid media in the reactor facility according to the invention.
Method and device for improving the efficiency of treating fluids applied to a UV reactor
A method and UV reactor, the UV reactor having a longitudinal flow chamber, an input, and an output for fluid flow entry and exit, where the input has an inlet pipe followed by an inlet cone, said UV reactor having at least one longitudinal UV-lamp, and where the UV-lamp has a flow path from the input to the output via the flow chamber, for UV radiation exposure as fluid flows from the input to the output to receive a UV dose, so that the fluid applied to the UV reactor via the input of the flow chamber, is applied a uniform helical flow path where all the fluid applied to the UV reactor passes at least one UV lamp at a distance to receive a prescribed UV dose related to the current UV reactor, during passing of the fluid inside the UV reactor.
Fluid remanufacturing
Waste water is remanufactured with ozone in a series of mixing vessels. The ozone is dispersed to both a top and a bottom portion of each mixing vessel, but in different amounts. This creates an electrical potential difference across the height of each mixing vessel which significantly improves the oxidation of organic carbon-based impurities and eliminates H.sub.2S and bacteria. Sludge and solids floating to the top of each mixing vessels are removed, as well as sludge and solids settling to the bottom of the mixing vessels. When oil and gas well waste water is treated in this manner, the resulting treated water is purified and has a high salt content suitable for oil or gas well injection.
