The incorporation of the printed circuit board reduces costs and improves portability so that the water purification system can provide drinkable water to users in different circumstances. A system including the apparatus may further include a container housing the electrolytic generator apparatus, a lid, and a stand. A filter is positioned in the container to filter water poured into the container.

The raw water in the container can flow into the electrolysis electrode assembly (18) from the water inlet (15) of the electrolysis water tank (10) after being heated or boiled by a heater (16). The water is electrolyzed through the gaps between the electrodes of different polarities in the electrolysis electrode assembly (18). The electrolyzed water flows from a water outlet (28) of the electrolysis water tank (10) to satisfy needs of people for the electrolyzed water of different water temperatures.

The removable cover is held onto the housing by a removable connector. When one desires to change the filter, the cartridge is disconnected from the manifold, the removable connector is removed, then the removable cover is removed, and then the removable filter is replaced. Next, the removable cover is put back on, then the connector is connected, and the cartridge is reconnected to the manifold.

Also disclosed is a liquid ring pump suitable for use with such a distillation apparatus, the pump comprising a pump body, a pump compression chamber provided within the pump body, a rotor mounted within the compression chamber, a rotor axle to mount said rotor, the rotor being provided with one or more ceramic bearings to mount it to the rotor axle.
