A method of processing waste water to produce a filtrate is provided. The method includes the steps of: introducing untreated wastewater to an inlet zone of a bioreactor; introducing a concentrate of treated waste water with at least 10,000 mg/L of total suspended solids into the inlet zone of the bioreactor to form a biological active mixture; aerating the biological active mixture in an aeration zone of the bioreactor to produce treated waste water; filtering the treated waste water to produce a filtrate and the concentrate, wherein the filtrate created by the filtering has total suspended solids of less than 10 mg/L; transferring at least a portion of the concentrate to the inlet zone of the bioreactor; and transferring the filtrate external to the bioreactor as clean water.

System and method for generating stabilized, gas infused liquids containing high and ultra-high concentrations of infused gas, and the stabilized, gas infused liquids

A stabilized, gas-infused liquids containing ultra high concentrations of infused gas, produced by: generating a gas-infused liquid in a sealed vessel under a high pressure of at least 20 psi; stabilizing the gas-infused liquid by passing the liquid while still under the high pressure through a tubular flow path arrangement which compresses the infused gas into nano bubbles in the liquid; infusing an additional amount of the gas into the stabilized liquid by injecting the same, while still under high pressure, back into the sealed pressure vessel along with more of the gas; and again stabilizing the liquid by again passing liquid, while still under the high pressure, through the tubular flow path arrangement to thereby form the additional amount of infused gas into nano bubbles in the liquid.

WATER AND WASTEWATER CONDITIONING APPARATUS

A hydro turbulator system includes a volute that has a top duct and a bottom duct that allow fluid to enter and exit the volute. An impeller system including a first impeller and a second impeller is positioned within the volute. The first impeller and the second impeller are axially aligned. A motor is operationally connected to the impeller system so that the first impeller and the second impeller rotate upon operation of the motor. Rotation of the first impeller and the second impeller creates successive zones of high pressure and low pressure to agitate and condition fluid within the volute.

The object is to provide an activated sludge treatment method whereby production of excess sludge is brought substantially to zero; and a method for upgrading existing waste water treatment equipment, employing this method. The method includes a step (1) in which sludge 1 produced in a bioreactor is supplied to a waste water aeration-conditioning tank for activated sludge treatment; a step (2) in which waste water into which the sludge 1 has been mixed is subjected to aeration-conditioning to bring the oxidation-reduction potential to a positive value, and the conditioning treated waste water 1 supplied to the bioreactor; a step (3) in which released water from the bioreactor is considered to release water.

COST CONTROL OF WASTEWATER TREATMENT BASED ON REGULATORY PERIOD

Techniques for controlled aeration (140) of wastewater (190) include determining a first aeration intensity for a first aeration interval and a different second aeration intensity for a second aeration interval (225) based on a current energy price (215), a predicted energy price (221), and a regulatory surveillance period (201) during which a regulated critical parameter is monitored for regulatory compliance. Wastewater is aerated at the first aeration intensity for the first aeration interval; and at the second aeration intensity for the second aeration interval. The first aeration interval is short compared to the regulatory surveillance period, the second aeration interval is short compared to the regulatory surveillance period and does not overlap the first aeration interval, and the first aeration intensity is less than the second aeration intensity.
