A treatment composition for remediating for remediating H.sub.2S and other contaminant(s) in contaminated liquids, comprising: 0.1-10.0 weight % collectively of at least one hydroxide compound; 0.01-3.0 weight % collectively of at least one organic acid selected from a group consisting of fulvic acid and humic acid; 0.01-10.0 wt % of a chelating agent; and at least 75% weight of water.

ACID BASED CORROSION INHIBITOR COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
Compositions and methods for inhibiting corrosion of metal surfaces are disclosed herein. Also disclosed are methods of manufacturing the corrosion inhibitors compositions. The corrosion inhibitor compositions include the reaction product of a dicarbonyl compound with thioglycolic acid. The compositions may include other components, such as a solvent, a hydrogen sulfide scavenger, or a biocide.
Polyacrylate polymers for low carbon steel corrosion control
Methods are provided to inhibit corrosion in low hardness water systems. The corrosion inhibiting treatment comprises: calcium salts of low molecular weight polymer polycarboxylic acids. These calcium salts may be added preformed to the water system in need of treatment or formed in-situ in the system. This method of corrosion inhibition is not a source of addition phosphorous or heavy metal to the treated system.
CORROSION INHIBITOR FOR A CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM
A corrosion inhibitor for a central heating system is provided in the form of a cream having low water content, which may be encapsulated within a water-soluble film, for example a poly (vinyl alcohol) film. The corrosion inhibitor product is more highly-concentrated than known liquid inhibitors, and the encapsulation in a water soluble film provides for safer handling and eliminates waste from plastic packaging.

In an embodiment, a method for treating wastewater may include adding a magnesium compound to wastewater within a wastewater treatment system. The method may also include adding an effective amount of a dispersing agent and one or more of a free magnesium control agent and a seed material to wastewater within the wastewater treatment system to control the formation of struvite scale within the wastewater treatment system. METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ACCRETION OF SCALE
The present disclosure provides an improved scale inhibiting formulation that is effective, environmentally friendly, and does not add any organic compounds or traditional polymeric compounds to treated water. The scale inhibiting composition includes molecular clusters of polyammonium bisulfate (PABS), which can interact physically, chemically, or physio-chemically with one or more ions in the water or water-containing system being treated. That interaction inhibits scale accretion and/or removes previously formed scale.
PECTIN COMPRISING EFFERVESCENT COMPOSITIONS
A water softener, detergent compositions and co-granulates contain an effervescent agent and pectin. Unit portions contain the co-granulates or compositions. The compositions or co-granulates can be used in a water-soluble and/or water-dispersible water softening, cleaning or detergent formulations, and pectin can be used to stabilize effervescent tablets. The effervescent agent can contain an acidic component such as a tricarboxylic acid, a dicarboxylic acid other than tartaric acid, inorganic acids, and a basic component.

A composition for corrosion control in aqueous systems, the composition providing a formulation of a concentrated aluminum corrosion inhibitor; and (i) a polycarboxylic acid polymer, (ii) a sulfonic acid polymer, (iii) a combination of a polycarboxylic acid and a polysulfonic acid, (iv) an organic phosphonate, (v) a combination of a phosphonate and a polycarboxylic acid, or (vi) a combination of a phosphonate and a polysulfonic acid. A method for corrosion control in aqueous systems, the method providing a concentrated formulation, the concentrated formulation having an aluminum corrosion inhibitor and (i) a polycarboxylic acid polymer, (ii) a sulfonic acid polymer, (iii) a combination of a polycarboxylic acid and a polysulfonic acid, (iv) an organic phosphonate, (v) a combination of a phosphonate and a polycarboxylic acid, or (vi) a combination of a phosphonate and a polysulfonic acid; and delivering the concentrated formulation to an aqueous stream.

The invention provides a water treatment composition comprising a cathodic inhibitor comprising at least one rare earth metal, an anodic inhibitor comprising at least one polycarboxylic acid, and a polymer dispersant comprising at least one sulfonic group. The invention also provides a method of inhibiting corrosion of a metal in an industrial water system, which method includes treating water of the industrial water system with the composition of the invention, to provide treated water.
