Angled blank glass feed apparatus, system, and method
A glass blank feeding apparatus, system, and method for feeding a glass gob to an angled blank mold are disclosed. The glass blank feeding apparatus includes at least one scoop configured to receive a glass gob along a vertical axis from a gob feeder and a blank mold aligned along a longitudinal axis at a non-zero angle from the vertical axis, where the blank mold is configured to receive the glass gob directly from the at least one scoop along the longitudinal axis.
METHODS AND COMPONENTS FOR PRODUCING CHILD RESISTANT GLASS CONTAINERS
Disclosed herein are methods and components for manufacturing substantially square glass containers and components and a method for forming parisons are disclosed. A plunger is extended into a mold which presses molten glass against the walls of the mold and against the extended plunger. Compressed air is applied through the neck of the parison to expand the parison outwardly against another mold and an end surface defined by a baffle. The neck ring provides retention features on the neck of the glass container and can include child-resistance features. Each of the molds, neck ring, and plunger produce substantially square glass containers having a substantially square neck.

MACHINE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GLASS OBJECTS
Machine and method for manufacturing glass objects, in particular stemmed glass, comprising a blank mold 1 configured to receive glass at flow temperature, and a pressing punch 2 that can be moved in translation along a first axis, characterized in that the blank mold 1 comprises an upwardly flared upper portion 3 formed of one part, and an upwardly non-flared lower portion 13 formed of multiple parts, the parts of the lower portion 13 being movable in translation with a component along axes arranged in a plane normal to the first axis, the upper portion 3 having, along any axis normal to the first axis, a minimum dimension greater than the maximum dimension of the lower portion 13 along the axis normal to the first axis so that the molded object in the lower portion 13 can pass through the upper portion 3 in translation along the first axis.

MODULAR ALIGNMENT PROCESS SYSTEM FOR MOLD COMPONENTS
A mold system is provided for use in a glass container mold assembly that includes a base, a first plunger containing cylinder having a first cross-sectional area configured and sized to fit upon the base, and a male mold merger movable between a retracted and extended positioned that is configured tor insertion into a gob of molten glass to form an interior cavity in the gob to form a parison capable of be big blown into a glass container. The mold system comprises an alignment cylinder coaxially coupled to the plunger containing cylinder and having a second cross-sectional area larger than the first cross-sectional area of the plunger containing cylinder for accommodating and receiving a male mold member having a cross-sectional area too large to be accommodated by the first cross-sectional area of the plunger containing cylinder. The alignment cylinder includes an interior passageway.

Mold Assembly for an IS Machine
A mold assembly for an IS machine includes a first row of mold halves and a second row of mold halves, wherein the mold halves of the two rows face one another and a mold half of the first row and a mold half of the second row are assigned to one another such that together they can form a closed mold, and a mold closing mechanism with which the mold halves of the first row and the mold halves of the second row can be brought together reversibly from a position of assigned mold halves that are at a distance from one another to a position in which assigned mold halves form a closed mold, wherein the mold closing mechanism has a first transfer device with which a force can be exerted on the mold halves of the first row to bring together the mold halves of the two rows, characterized in that primary compensators are arranged between the first transfer device and the mold halves of the first row, which are elastically deformable when the mold halves of the two rows are brought together. In this way, a mold assembly for an IS machine is provided which exhibits improved closing characteristics.
