For the monitoring of the application of a vacuum to the finished moulds (1, 2) of a glass moulding machine, in particular of an I. S. machine, an arrangement is proposed which is composed of a vacuum sensor (13, 14), which vacuum sensor is arranged in a vacuum line (5, 6) which charges the finished mould (1, 2) and which vacuum sensor is designed for pressure measurement and detects a pressure value, which pressure value is transmitted by way of a microcontroller (15, 16) of an I. S. machine controller (22) by way of which, in a manner dependent on the measured value, a hollow glass article can be identified as being defective and rejected. The arrangement permits automated monitoring of the vacuum operation and a lessening of the burden on operating personnel, and serves for the automated assurance of product quality.

A neck ring holder device intended to be used at a mould for forming glass containers (30), wherein the neck ring (41) for realizing the mouth (32) of the container can be opened and consists of a plurality of circumferential sectors (44) that can be moved apart from a closed position of the neck ring (41), in which the circumferential sectors (44) are coplanar and form a substantially continuous annular element, up to an open position of the neck ring (41), in which the circumferential sectors (44) are rotated out of said coplanar configuration, moving away from each other, about axes directed perpendicular to the direction of the axis (45) of said annular element, is characterised in that the movement of the circumferential sectors (44) from the closed position to the open position.

The blow head has a first engagement member for removable engagement with a second engagement member to removably attach the blow head to the blow head mounting member. Apparatus for blow molding glass bottle, and molding method therefor
The present invention relates to an apparatus for blow-molding a glass bottle, and more particularly, to an apparatus for blow-molding a glass bottle in which molding air is injected into a pair of mold bodies such that molten glass accommodated in the mold bodies is formed into a glass bottle and a groove is formed at the center of the inner side of the bottom surface of the glass bottle. The apparatus for blow-molding a glass bottle of the present invention uses a blow mold (10) configured to include: a pair of mold bodies (11) forming a tubular body; a base mold (12) which molds the bottom surface of the glass bottle; and a blowing head (13) which are arranged in the upper portions of the mold bodies (11) and into which molding air is injected such that the glass bottle is expanded after primary molding and closely contacts the inner walls of the mold bodies (11) and the base mold (12). A groove molder (20) is provided on the inner circumferential edge portion of the blowing head (13) such that a groove portion (15) can be molded on the inner side of the bottom surface of the glass bottle (14).
