A bendable stack assembly that includes a glass element having a composition substantially free of alkali ions, an elastic modulus of about 40 GPa to about 100 GPa, a final thickness from about 20 μm to about 100 μm, a first primary surface substantially in tension upon a bending of the element, and a second primary surface substantially in compression upon the bending, the primary surfaces characterized by a prior material removal to the final thickness from an initial thickness that is at least 20 μm greater than the final thickness. The glass element also includes a protect layer on the first primary surface. In addition, the glass element is characterized by an absence of failure when the element is held during the bending at a bend radius of about 15 mm for at least 60 minutes at about 25 C and about 50% relative humidity.

In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, a pharmaceutical package may comprise a glass container comprising a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The first surface may be an outer surface of the glass container. The pharmaceutical package may further comprise a coating positioned over at least a portion of the first surface of the glass container. The coating may comprise polycyanurate.

The film is produced from an interpenetrating network formed as a colloidal suspension in an organic solvent and a particulate solid.

The coated glass substrate includes a coating provided on a surface of a glass substrate wherein the coating comprises a semi-interpenetrating polymer network including a non-crosslinked polymer and a glass frit. The coating exhibits a stud pull of about 275 psi or more.

A coated glass substrate is disclosed as well as a method of making the coated glass substrate. The coated glass substrate comprises a glass substrate and a coating on a surface of the glass substrate wherein the coating includes a binder. The binder may include an interpenetrating network. For example, the network may include a crosslinked polyacrylate and a crosslinked polyacrylamide. In addition, the transparency of the coated substrate after one of the following conditions may be within 10% of the transparency of the coated substrate prior to the condition: (i) wherein the coated substrate is stored at a temperature of 0° C. or less and then exposed to an environment at 21° C. and 70% humidity or (ii) wherein the coated substrate is positioned within 100° C. steam for one minute.

Polycarbonate diol coating composition for caustic and UV resistance

A curable glass coating composition including 5-70 wt % aliphatic polycarbonate diol, 5-60 wt % crosslinker, 1-20 wt % extender, 4-20 wt % fatty alcohol, and 2-30 wt % crystalline or amorphous powder filler material, and optionally 2-20 wt % aliphatic polyester polyol and 2-20 wt % cycloaliphatic epoxy. The coating composition can be applied to a glass substrate and cured to form a decorative cured polyurethane coating layer on the substrate that has improved caustic and UV resistance.
