A method and apparatus for producing AlN whiskers includes reduced incorporation of metal particles, an AlN whisker body, AlN whiskers, a resin molded body, and a method for producing the resin molded body. The method for producing AlN whiskers includes heating an Al-containing material in a material accommodation unit to thereby generate Al gas; and introducing the Al gas into a reaction chamber through a communication portion while introducing nitrogen gas into the reaction chamber through a gas inlet port, to thereby grow AlN whiskers on the surface of an Al.sub.2O.sub.3 substrate placed in the reaction chamber.

A tamper-evident glass and methods of using the tamper-evident glass are provided herein. The tamper-evident glass comprising at least a first plurality of tamper-evident elements, which may be unique or near unique to each manufacturing of tam per-evident glass. The initial state of tamper-evident glass and positioning of the plurality of tamper-evident elements may be mapped through digital scanning to create a digital file of the current state of the tamper-evident glass. The tamper-evident glass may be scanned again to create a new digital file for comparison and to determine if a tampering event has occurred. The tamper-evident elements may include any combination of inorganic fluorescent material, crystals grown through nucleation and crystallization, or added colorants.

The present disclosure relates to a feedstock for performing additive manufacturing through a heated extrusion print nozzle heated to a working printing temperature. The feedstock may have a glass matrix meltable at the working printing temperature and a reinforcing fiber component. The fiber reinforcing component is disposed within the glass matrix, and selected to be at least one of thermally stable or thermally oxidatively stable at the working printing temperature being used to melt the glass matrix.
