OPTICAL FIBER, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING OPTICAL FIBER
An optical fiber includes a glass fiber, and a resin coating layer covering an outer circumference of the glass fiber. In a spectrum acquired by measuring an amount of eccentricity of the glass fiber from a central axis based on an outer circumference of the resin coating layer at a plurality of measurement points set at a predetermined interval in an axial direction of the glass fiber and applying Fourier transform of a waveform representing the amount of eccentricity at each of the plurality of measurement points, a largest value of amplitude of the amount of eccentricity is 6 μm or less.

Gypsum panels, systems, and methods
Gypsum panels and methods for their manufacture are provided herein. The gypsum panels include a gypsum core having a first surface and a second opposed surface and a first fiberglass mat associated with the first surface of the gypsum core, such that gypsum from the gypsum core penetrates at least a portion of the first fiberglass mat.
GLASS-FIBRE TEXTILE STRUCTURE WITH PARYLENE COATING
The invention relates to a glass-fiber textile structure, characterized in that it has a parylene (poly(para-xylylene)) coating with a thickness of between 5 μm and 30 μm, preferably between 6 μm and 25 μm, in particular between 7 and 20 μm. The invention also relates to a method for reinforcing a solid material, which comprises introducing such a textile structure having a parylene coating into a fluid base material, preferably a base material comprising water and a hydraulic binder, and curing the base material.

Gypsum panels, systems, and methods
Gypsum panels, sheathing systems, and methods of making and using the same are provided. A gypsum panel includes a gypsum core associated with a first fiberglass mat having a continuous barrier coating, the coating penetrating a portion of the first fiberglass mat opposite the gypsum core, wherein gypsum penetrates a remaining fibrous portion of the first fiberglass mat such that voids in the first fiberglass mat are substantially eliminated. A building sheathing system includes at least two gypsum panels and a seaming component to provide a seam at an interface between the gypsum panels.
