20230086805 · 2023-03-23 ·

Described is a method of manufacturing a binder and the use of the binder to manufacture a roading mixture through mixing with aggregate, or a composite plastic product through the mixture of binder with particulate matter and/or fibre. The binder comprises mixing a plastic with two or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers in a mixing tank. The two or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers may have different homopolymer glass transition temperatures (TO wherein a first monomer structural unit has a homopolymer T.sub.g of greater than 80° C. and a second monomer having a homopolymer T.sub.g of less than 80° C. The plastic may be selected from a plastic comprising a styrene homopolymer, a styrene copolymer, a copolymer of an alkene and vinyl acetate, acrylic polymer and nylon based polymers or co-polymers, polyester-based thermoplastic polymer resin, propylene-based thermoplastic polymer and homo-polymer of an alkene or combination thereof.

The present invention relates to fiber cement products comprising an inner core material, which inner core material is covered by at least one outer surface layer, characterized in that: —said inner core material has a density of between about 0.4 and about 0.9 g/cm.sup.3 inclusive, and at least comprises cement and between 1 wt % and 70 wt % (with respect to the total dry weight of said inner core material) of a lightweight filler, and—said at least one outer surface layer has a density of between about 0.9 and about 1.4 g/cm.sup.3 inclusive, and at least comprises fibers and cement.

Masonry material utilizing recycled construction and demolition waste

The embodiments herein are directed to dry wall waste mixtures, formed under pressure into example embodiments referred to herein as dry wall waste blocks (DWBs) and/or gypsum wallboard waste blocks (GWWBs) and tile structures. DWBs/GWWBs mixtures in particular, often incorporate a higher percentage in the composite mixtures from about 60% up to 85% of dry wall waste than other mixtures and beneficially often incorporates substantially all of the wallboard facing paper as part of the composite mixture. That is, waste processing is simplified by comingling core and paper layers in the final product. DWBs/GWWBs mixtures utilize demolition and construction waste, replacing a high percentage of Portland cement with waste-derived binder.

DEGRADABLE MATERIALS CONTAINING WASTE PAPER PRODUCTS

Disclosed herein are feedstock materials which can be used for the manufacture of industrial products and consumer goods. The feedstock materials comprise particles of a comminuted paper product having fibrous portions on an outer surface thereof distributed throughout a diagenetically formed mineral aggregate comprising gypsum, syngenite and magnesium hydroxide and/or magnesium sulphate. The feedstock material, and products produced therefrom, is adapted to degrade when buried. Also disclosed herein are methods for producing the feedstock materials, and products produced from the feedstock materials.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a preceding material for pumping, a feeding of a very small amount thereof being capable of extending the pumping distance. The preceding material for pumping includes an added cellulose nanofiber and having calcium carbonate as a main component. The present invention enables a thin lubricant layer of a uniform thickness to be formed inside a pipe even when the pipe has a slightly roughened inner surface due to, for example, residues of solidified cement paste or the like, allowing the pumping distance to be extended. Thus, the present invention is suitable, for example, for casting ready-mixed concrete at various construction sites.
