A CONSTRUCTION PANEL HAVING IMPROVED DIMENSIONAL STABILITY
Lightweight construction panels, such as gypsum plaster-board, are commonly used to provide internal partitions in buildings It is known to cover, either partially or fully, the panel with an aqueous material such as gypsum plaster or jointing compound. It has been found that known panels expand when they absorb water. This gives rise to several undesirable results such as the gypsum plaster or jointing compound cracking as the panel expands as moisture is absorbed. The present invention provides a panel comprising a gypsum matrix including fibres in an amount of at least 0.8 wt % relative to the gypsum, a polymeric additive in an amount of at least 0.8 wt % relative to the gypsum, and at least one phosphate additive. A panel having such a composition has been found to have desirable characteristics.

Mildewproof and antirot high-strength cement particle board and preparation method thereof
Technical fields of building external wall decoration and material manufacturing, providing a mildewproof and antirot high-strength cement particle board and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method includes: (1) sequentially carbonizing and water-washing a shaving, and mixing the obtained carbonized shaving with a cement gelling agent, a curing agent aqueous solution and water to obtain a mixture; (2) molding the mixture to obtain a pre-molded material; and (3) sequentially curing and drying the pre-molded material to obtain the mildewproof and antirot high-strength cement particle board. Compared to ordinary cement particle board, which is not subjected to carbonization treatment and water-washing, the cement particle board of the present invention can effectively avoid mildew and rot, and can significantly improve the mechanical strength and durability thereof, helping to extend the service life of the cement particle board.

INORGANIC BOARD MANUFACTURING METHOD AND INORGANIC BOARD
An object is to provide an inorganic board and a method for manufacturing the same that are suited to achieving high waterproofness.
A manufacturing method of the present invention includes first to sixth steps. The first step involves depositing a raw material on a receiving plate B1 to form a first layer L1. The second step involves pressing a first portion Ma and a second portion Mb of a raw material mat M including the first layer L1 toward the receiving plate B1 to compress the first portion Ma and the second portion Mb. The first portion Ma and the second portion Mb are one end portion and the other end portion, respectively, of the raw material mat M in a first direction D1. The third step involves depositing a raw material on the first layer L1 to form a second layer L2. The fourth step involves planarizing an exposed surface of the second layer L2. The fifth step involves curing the raw material mat M pressed between the receiving plate B1 and a pressing plate B2 to form a cured plate M′ from raw material mat M. The sixth step involves processing the first portion Ma and the second portion Mb into a first back-side joint part P1 and a first front-side joint part P2, respectively. An inorganic board X1 according to the present invention includes the first back-side joint part P1 and the first front-side joint part P2 that are high-density parts.
