CEMENT SHEETS AND COATINGS FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
A continuous flexible cement sheet roll for coating construction slabs, is disclosed. The sheet comprising a flexible cement layer, which has a thickness of between 0.3 to 6 mm, such as between 0.5 and 5 mm, and which comprises a) essentially inorganic mortar and b) up to 15% polymeric binder. When the amount of a component in a mixture is expressed in % units, the weight % of the component relative to the weight of the whole mixture is intended. The flexible cement sheet roll of the invention comprises, a reinforcing layer of a thickness lower than the thickness of said cement layer, selected from films of a nonwoven fabrics, layers of organic or inorganic fibers, polymer webs, chop strand mat, and fiberglass mats, among others.

The present invention relates to a copolymer, especially for use as a dispersant for solid particles, in particular for use as dispersant for mineral binder compositions, having a polymer backbone and side chains bonded thereto, comprising at least one ionizable monomer unit M1 and at least one side chain-bearing monomer unit M2, wherein the copolymer has a gradient structure in at least one section A in a direction along the polymer backbone with regard to the ionizable monomer unit M1 and/or with regard to the side chain-bearing monomer unit M2.
Dispersant for calcium sulphate-based compositions
The present invention relates to the use of a copolymer as a dispersant for binder compositions based on calcium sulfate, the copolymer having a polymer backbone and sidechains bound thereto, and at least one ionizable monomeric unit M1 and at least one sidechain-carrying monomeric unit M2, characterized in that the copolymer has, in a direction along the polymer backbone, a non-random distribution of the monomeric units M1 and/or of the monomeric units M2.

A composition of matter has cement particles and resin structures having: a first functional group bonded directly to a surface of each cement particle; and a second functional group that bonds to calcium silicate hydrate upon hydration, wherein the second functional group is bondable with second functional groups of others of the cement particles to form a polymer network; and a backbone that connects the first functional group with the second functional group. A method of forming cement particles includes mixing cement particles with reactive molecules, the reactive molecules having a first functional group bonded directly to a surface of each cement particle, a second functional group that is bondable to calcium silicate hydrate upon hydration, wherein the second functional group is bondable with second function groups of others of the cement particles to form a polymer network, and a backbone that connects the first functional group with the second functional group. A composition of matter has cement particles, and a cured resin structure resulting from a reaction between two or more reactive molecules having functional groups that react with each other onto the surfaces of the cement particle, wherein one of the reactive molecules is used in less than a stoichiometric amount, leaving unreacted functional groups, and wherein the unreacted functional groups are bondable to calcium silicate hydrate upon hydration.
