A ceramic electronic device includes a dielectric layer and an internal electrode layer that are alternately stacked, wherein the dielectric layer contains yttria-stabilized zirconia and (Ca.sub.x1Ba.sub.x2Sr.sub.1-x1-x2)(Ti.sub.yZr.sub.1-y)O.sub.3 (0.6≤x1≤0.9, 0≤x2≤0.1, 0≤y≤0.1) as a main component, and wherein, in the dielectric layer, a concentration of the yttria-stabilized zirconia when a total amount of Ti and Zr is 100 mol % is 0.5 mol % or more and 5.0 mol % or less.

A heat insulating material includes an aerogel that has macro-pores and meso-pores. A method for manufacturing a heat insulating material, including: a sol preparation step of adding a gelling agent into sodium silicate such that a molar ratio of the gelling agent relative to NaO.sub.2 is 0.1 to 0.75, and adjusting a sol into which macro-pores are introduced by leaving unreacted Na and non-cross-linked oxygen in a siloxane skeleton; an impregnating and gelling step of impregnating a nonwoven fabric fiber structure with the sol to form a composite of hydrogel-nonwoven fabric fiber; a hydrophobizating step of mixing the formed composite of hydrogel-nonwoven fabric fiber with a silylating agent to modify a surface thereof; and a drying step of removing a liquid contained in the surface modified composite of hydrogel-nonwoven fabric fiber by drying under a temperature and pressure lower than respective critical values.

Polymer composition and article made from the same
The present application relates to a polymer composition comprising from 20 wt % to 30 wt % of a polycarbonate; from 40 wt % to 60 wt % of a polybutylene terephthalate; from 5 wt % to 30 wt % of a reinforcement fiber; from 1 wt % to 10 wt % of glass bubbles, and from 0.3 wt % to 2 wt % of transesterification inhibitor, all contents are based on the total weight of the composition. The polymer composition according to the present invention has improved adhesion to the metal (especially aluminum), even after annealing and anodizing processes are applied.
GLASSY CARBON COMPACT
A glassy carbon compact according to the present invention has a maximum inscribed sphere diameter of 5 mm or greater, comprises pores having diameters of 500 nm or less dispersed throughout the glassy carbon compact, and has a density of 1.1 g/cm.sup.3 or greater.
