Provided is a method for producing a β-sialon fluorescent material, comprising preparing a composition containing a silicon nitride that contains aluminium, oxygen, and europium; heat-treating the composition at a temperature in a range of 1300° C. or more and 1600° C. or less to obtain a heat-treated product; subjecting the heat-treated product to a temperature-decrease of from the heat treatment temperature to 1000° C. as a first temperature-decrease step; and subjecting the heat-treated product to a temperature-decrease of from 1000° C. to 400° C. as a second temperature-decrease step. The first temperature-decrease step has a temperature-decrease rate in a range of 1.5° C./min or more and 200° C./min or less, and the second temperature-decrease step has a temperature-decrease rate in a range of 1° C./min or more and 200° C./min or less.

A lanthanum molybdenum composite oxide is provided. The lanthanum molybdenum composite oxide has a primary crystal phase formed of La.sub.2Mo.sub.2O.sub.9. The lanthanum molybdenum composite oxide also has a secondary crystal phase formed of a lanthanum molybdenum composite oxide species other than La.sub.2Mo.sub.2O.sub.9. The secondary crystal phase may contain at least one species selected from a group consisting of La.sub.2Mo.sub.3O.sub.12, La.sub.6MoO.sub.12, La.sub.7Mo.sub.7O.sub.30, La.sub.2Mo.sub.4O.sub.15, La.sub.2MoO.sub.6, La.sub.4MoO.sub.9, and LaMo.sub.2O.sub.5.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING METAL NITRIDE
The present invention relates to a method for producing a metal nitride by igniting a raw material powder containing a metal powder filled in a reaction vessel under a nitrogen atmosphere and propagating nitriding combustion heat generated by a nitriding reaction of the metal to the whole raw material powder, the method including forming a heat insulating layer made of a material having nitrogen permeability and inert to the nitriding reaction on an upper surface of a layer made of the raw material powder. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a method for reducing the amount of unreacted metal powder when producing a metal nitride by a combustion synthesis method.
LI ION CONDUCTOR AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SAME
A Li ion conductor having a composition different from a conventional composition is provided. The Li ion conductor contains at least one selected from a group Q consisting of Ga, V, and Al, Li, La and O. A part of an Li site is optionally substituted with a metal element D, a part of an La site is optionally substituted with a metal element E, and parts of Ga, V and Al sites are optionally substituted with a metal element J. A mole ratio of an amount of Li to a total amount of La, the element E, Ga, V, Al, and the element J is not lower than 8.1/5 and not higher than 9.5/5. A mole ratio of a total amount of Ga, V, and Al to a total amount of La and the element E is not lower than 1.1/3 and not higher than 2/3.
OXIDE SINTERED BODY
An oxide sintered body may include zinc, magnesium, a positive trivalent or positive tetravalent metal element X, and oxygen as constituent elements. The atomic ratio of the metal element X to the sum of the zinc, the magnesium, and the metal element X [X/(Zn+Mg+X)] may be 0.0001 or more and 0.6 or less. The atomic ratio of the magnesium to the sum of the zinc and the magnesium [Mg/(Zn+Mg)] may be 0.25 or more and 0.8 or less.
