Composite cementitious material for cement compositions
Disclosed herein are methods and compositions for cementing. An example method may comprise providing a cement composition. The cement composition may comprise a composite cementitious material comprising a micronized particulate solid and a monophase amorphous hydraulic binder. The micronized particulate solid may have a mean particle size of about 500 microns or less. The cement composition may further comprise water. The method may further comprise introducing the cement composition into a subterranean formation; and allowing the cement composition to set.

Composite cement with improved reactivity and improved fresh properties comprising a hydraulic cement or a caustic activator, a hyaloclastite as pozzolan containing 45-62 wt.-% SiO.sub.2, 10-20 wt.% Al.sub.2O.sub.3, 6-15 wt.-% Fe.sub.2O.sub.3, 7-15 wt.-% CaO, 7-15 wt.-% MgO, 1.5-4 wt.% (K.sub.2O+Na.sub.2O), and having 0-5 wt.-% loss on ignition at 950° C. and ≥50 wt.-% X-ray amorphous phase, and a carbonate filler with an at least bimodal particle size distribution adapted to provide a slope n in a Rosin-Rammler-Sperling-Bennett distribution curve of ≤1.15 in a particle size distribution of the composite cement; a method for manufacturing it, as well as use of a composition comprising the hyaloclastite as pozzolan and the carbonate filler as mineral addition for composite cements comprising a hydraulic cement or a caustic activator.
NOVEL HYDRAULIC BINDER AND HYDRAULIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING SAME
A hydraulic binder which includes a clinker with a specific shape, the clinker including as main phases, given as weight percentages relative to the total weight of the clinker: (i) 70 to 95% of a belite phase having a particle size such that the Dv50 ranges from 5 to 15 μm; (ii) 5 to 30% of a calcium aluminoferrite phase; and (iii) less than 5% of minor phases; the clinker having an Al.sub.2O.sub.3/Fe.sub.2O.sub.3 weight ratio of less than 1.5; and the clinker including less than 5% of alite phase and less than 5% of calcium sulphoaluminate phase; and at least 0.5% dry weight of an activator made of calcium sulphate, as a weight percentage relative to the total weight of phases (i) to (iii).

Manufacturing a binder with high β belite content
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a binder with high β belite content comprising the steps: a) providing a starting material by selecting one raw material having a Ca/Si molar ratio of 1.5 to 2.5 or by mixing two or more raw materials to obtain a starting material with the Ca/Si molar ratio of 1.5 to 2.5; b) hydrothermal treatment of the starting material produced in step a) in an autoclave at a temperature of 100 to 300° C. and a retention time of 0.1 to 24 h, wherein the water/solids ratio is from 0.1 to 100 to provide an intermediate product; c) annealing the intermediate product obtained in step b) in a flash calciner at 620 to 630° C., wherein the retention time is 1-30 seconds.

MANUFACTURING A BINDER WITH HIGH B BELITE CONTENT
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a binder with high belite content comprising the steps: a) providing a starting material by selecting one raw material having a Ca/Si molar ratio of 1.5 to 2.5 or by mixing two or more raw materials to obtain a starting material with the Ca/Si molar ratio of 1.5 to 2.5; b) hydrothermal treatment of the starting material produced in step a) in an autoclave at a temperature of 100 to 300 C. and a retention time of 0.1 to 24h, wherein the water/solids ratio is from 0.1 to 100 to provide an intermediate product; c) annealing the intermediate product obtained in step b) in a flash calciner at 620 to 630 C., wherein the retention time is 1-30 seconds.

Production of Activated-Belite-CSA Clinkers at Extremely Low Firing Temperature
A raw meal for a cement clinker, a cement clinker made from that raw meal and a process for producing a cement clinker are provided. The clinker contains mainly the hydraulically activate alphaH-belite polymorph and calcium sulfoaluminate (ye'elimite or C.sub.4A.sub.3?), at the low firing temperature of 1050? C., using a combination of fluoride and boron oxide.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING HIGHLY REACTIVE CEMENTS
The invention relates to a method for producing cements by hydrothermally treating a starting material containing sources of CaO and SiO.sub.2 in an autoclave at a temperature of 100 to 300 C., and tempering the obtained intermediate product at 350 to 700 C., wherein water formed during tempering is dissipated by grinding the intermediate product and/or tempering taking place under a continuous gas stream. The invention also relates to cements obtained in this manner, hydraulic binders therefrom, and building materials which contain said binders.
