Method for infiltrating a ceramic, artificial or natural stone surface
The object of the invention is a method for infiltrating a ceramic, artificial or natural stone surface, wherein a material forming a bond with valences on the surface is applied and mechanically rubbed onto the surface, whereby frictional heat is generated, wherein the material is used as a solution or suspension, and which comprises applying a hydrophobizing infiltration composition onto the surface to be coated, followed by rubbing it in until a homogeneous distribution and filling of the pores in the surface is achieved for improving the surface properties.
COATING AGENT COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR COATING STRUCTURE
The present disclosure relates to a coating agent composition comprising: (A) an organopolysiloxane resin that is solid at 25 C., including a siloxane unit represented by the general formula: R.sup.1.sub.3SiO.sub.1/2 and a siloxane unit represented by the formula: SiO.sub.4/2, a molar ratio of the siloxane unit represented by the general formula: R.sub.3SiO.sub.1/2 to the siloxane unit represented by the formula: SiO.sub.4/2 being from 0.5 to 1.2; (B) an organopolysiloxane that is liquid at 25 C., including in a molecule at least two silicon atom-bonded hydrolyzable groups or hydroxyl groups; (C) a silane compound or a partially hydrolyzed condensate thereof; (D) a catalyst for condensation reaction; and (E) an organic solvent. The present coating agent composition has excellent adhesion to a structure such as mortar and concrete, or a primer layer or an intermediate coating layer on the surface thereof, and can form a thin cured film with low surface tack.

COATING AGENT FOR CONCRETE STRUCTURES
A coating agent is disclosed, which is suitable for concrete structures. The coating agent comprises: (A) a diorganopolysiloxane capped at both molecular terminals with silanol groups or silicon atom-bonded hydrolyzable groups; (B) a silane compound having at least two silicon atom-bonded hydrolyzable groups per molecule, or a partially hydrolyzed condensate thereof; (C) a curing catalyst; and (D) fumed silica. The coating agent forms a silicone film that is strongly adherent to a concrete structure, and that enables visual confirmation of the surface state of the concrete structure through the silicone film.
