Urea-based blend composition and method for the manufacture thereof
The invention relates to a particulate urea-based blend composition comprising a urea-based compound in particulate form and one or more components in particulate form, selected from the group of nitrates, phosphates, sulphates and chlorides, and a urease inhibitor of the type phosphoric triamide, and a magnesium sulphate, wherein the urea-based blend composition is further characterized in that it comprises an alkaline or alkaline-forming compound, selected from the group of calcium oxide, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate, and mixtures thereof. The composition according to the invention has improved properties for reducing ammonia loss by urease activity in the soil and is in particular suitable as a fertilizer. The invention further relates to a method for the manufacture of said urea-based blend composition, as well as to a composition of kit of parts comprising an amount of a) magnesium sulphate; b) a urease inhibitor of the type phosphoric triamide, preferably N-(n-butyl) thiophosphoric triamide (nBTPT); c) an alkaline or alkaline-forming compound, selected from the group of calcium oxide, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate, and mixtures thereof, and d) optionally, one or more anti-caking and/or moisture-repellent and/or anti-dust compounds.
Micronutrient compositions and systems and methods of using same
An agricultural spray may be produced by admixing citric acid and glutamic acid with a metal salt and a pesticide or other agricultural chemical containing components capable of precipitating with the metal salt in the admixture. The citric acid and the glutamic acid chelate with the metal salt to provide a stability and compatibility-enhancing composition, thereby preventing the metal salt from forming an insoluble solid within the admixture. Such a composition may be produced by admixing citric acid and glutamic acid at a molar ratio of about 6.8:0.5 to about 1:0.29. The composition may include a metal sat, citric acid and glutamic acid in a molar ratio of about 1:6.8:0.5 to about 1:1:0.29 and a pesticide.

A method of producing the same is also provided.

GRAPHENE BASED GROWING MEDIUM AND METHOD
The present invention provides for a growing medium having a mix of soil, graphene, and/or graphene oxide. In at least one example, soil is combined with single or few layer graphene. In another example, the soil is combined with single or few layer graphene, including graphene sheets, and graphene oxide. The growing medium has been shown to increase plant growth while providing for growing medium aeration, increased water retention, and increased nutrient loading and release.

The present invention relates to an agronomic composition comprising zinc, manganese and microorganism(s) capable of promoting nutrient uptake by a plant from the soil. Furthermore, the present invention provides a seed coated by an agronomic composition according to the invention and a method for improving the yield of a plant, in particular for increasing nutrient uptake and/or cold tolerance in early stages of development by applying the agronomic composition according to the invention to a seed or to soil, in which a seed is planted. Finally, the present invention also relates to the use of an agronomic composition of the present invention to improve the yield of a plant. In particular, the composition of the present invention is used to improve recovery of a plant and/or to prevent tissue damage when the plant is exposed to low temperatures at the seed or seedling stage.
