UREA CALCIUM SULFATE GRANULES AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING AND USING THE SAME
A urea calcium sulfate (UCS) fertilizer granule and methods for making and using the same are disclosed. The granule can include a urea-calcium sulfate (UCS) adduct. The method of making can include producing a partially dried material comprising UCS adduct and forming the UCS fertilizer granules by either one or both of feeding the partially dried material into a separate vessel for granulation or granulating after storage of the partially dried material.
DUST SUPPRESSANT AND ANTI-CAKING COATING FOR HYGROSCOPIC SUBSTRATES
A fertilizer coating providing effective dust control and caking reduction properties while maintaining organic farming standards. The coating may comprise a combination of highly saturated triglycerides, such as palm stearin, and plant-based oil and/or lecithin, such as soybean oil and/or soy lecithin. The coating may further comprise gum derived from plants, such as fenugreek gum.
Agricultural coating containing sugar ester and methods
The invention is a coating for agricultural products, which includes at least 10% of renewably sourced and biodegradable sugar esters. The invention is also a method of making a coated agricultural product, including the steps of providing a coating composition comprising at least 10% of a renewably sourced and biodegradable sugar ester, heating the coating composition to a temperature to reduce its viscosity to below about 100 cP, adding the coating composition to an agricultural product to form a mixture, and cooling the mixture to produce a coated agricultural product. The invention is also a method of reducing dust released from an agricultural product that includes the step of providing a coating composition comprising at least 10% of a renewable sourced and biodegradable sugar ester. Enough of the coating composition is added to the agricultural product to reduce the amount of dust released from the agricultural product by at least half. Finally, the invention is also a method of reducing caking in a granular agricultural product.
GREEN COATING CONTAINING BIOSTIMULANTS FOR HYGROSCOPIC SUBSTRATES
A coating for hygroscopic substrates comprising a tackifier, a cutting oil, and an aqueous solution comprising biostimulant. The coating may be a green coating that acts both as a dust suppressant as well as a carrier for biostimulants on hygroscopic substrates.
NOVEL CHEMISTRIES TO ACHIEVE A TOTAL AGRONOMIC COATING CONTAINING MICRONUTRIENTS AND/OR BIOSTIMULANTS
A fertilizer coating that provides nutrients and/or biostimulants, as well as added dust control and caking control. The fertilizer coating may comprise a carrier, one or more micronutrient dispersants, and/or one or more micronutrients. The carrier may be aqueous-based or oil based. The coating may further comprise one or more biostimulants in an aqueous media.
Fertilizer Coating Compositions and Methods of Preparation Thereof
The disclosure relates to fertilizer coating compositions and methods for making thereof. The fertilizer coating comprises a decarboxylated rosin acid (DCR) component, optional bitumen and other additives. The DCR has a Kb value of 25-90, a density of 0.9 to 1.0 g/cm.sup.3 at 20° C., an aniline point of 3-40° C., and an acid value of <50 mg KOH/g. The fertilizer coated with the coating composition has a reduction in dust level of >25% after 2 weeks of aging compared to a fertilizer not having the coating composition disposed thereon, according to Dust Level Measurement Test.
PARTICULATE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE
Particulate compositions including cores, binders, and powders are provided. Also provided are methods for producing particulate compositions, and methods for using particulate compositions.
IMPROVEMENTS IN AND RELATING TO FERTILIZER COMPOSITIONS
An aqueous urease inhibitor and/or nitrification inhibitor formulation includes an aqueous wax dispersion, which includes about 10-50% by weight high melting point emulsifying wax, water to make up to 100%, at least one inhibitor active in an amount of 1wt% -30wt% of the aqueous wax dispersion, and a dispersing clay in an amount of 5wt% -50wt% of the aqueous wax dispersion.

Production of Nitrogenous Fertilizer from Wastewater
An ammonia capture and recovery system comprises five process steps, including an ammonia removal step, an ammonia recovery step, a product granulation step, a granulated product wax-coating step, and a granulated product encapsulation step. These steps are modular in that multiple approaches are valid for each step if it meets the process requirements for the next influent. Also, a method of taking ammonia-containing wastewater and producing several water fractions (preferably of decreasing volume and increasing purity) and a time-release ammonium-containing fertilizer, resulting in a sustainable nitrogenous fertilizer product that reduces fertilizer use and subsequent nutrient runoff while being produced from wastewater and not fossil fuel or hydrogen sources.
