Quarternary ammonium perfluoroalkoxy salts for preparation of perfluoropolyethers
The present invention relates to anhydrous tetraalkyl pnictogen perfluoroalkoxy salts and a process to produce anhydrous tetraalkyl pnictogen perfluoroalkoxy salts. The process involves contacting a hydrofluoroether and an amine to produce a tetraalkyl pnictogen perfluoroalkoxy salt in the presence of a solvent. The present invention also relates to processes of preparing fluoroalkyl ether acid fluoride polymers using tetraalkyl pnictogen perfluoroalkoxy salt. The present invention further relates to some novel fluorinated alkyl polyether polymers.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING SALT
According to the present invention, there is provided a method of producing a salt, including reacting M.sup.+X.sup.− with YH to generate XH and M.sup.+Y.sup.− and subsequently removing the generated XH to obtain the M.sup.+Y.sup.−.
In the method of producing a salt, M.sup.+X.sup.− is a salt of a cation represented by M.sup.+ and an anion represented by X.sup.−, M.sup.+Y.sup.− is a salt of the cation represented by M.sup.+ and an anion represented by Y.sup.−, XH is a conjugate acid of X.sup.−, YH is a conjugate acid of Y.sup.−, M.sup.+Y.sup.− is a compound that generates an acid upon irradiation with an active ray or a radioactive ray, a pKa of XH is larger than a pKa of YH, and a ClogP value of XH is larger than 2.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING FLUOROALKOXIDE
An aim of the present disclosure is to provide a method for producing a fluoroalkoxide, said method being more useful than conventional methods, and the like. The aim can be achieved by a method for producing a compound represented by the following formula (1):
##STR00001## (wherein R.sup.1 is a fluoroalkyl group optionally containing an oxygen atom between carbon atoms, or a fluoroalkoxy group optionally containing an oxygen atom between carbon atoms, and each R.sup.2 is identical to or different from each other and is a hydrocarbon group), the method comprising the step of reacting a compound represented by the following formula (2):
##STR00002## with a compound represented by the following formula (3):
.sup.⊖F.sup.⊕NR.sup.2).sub.4 (3).
