BILE ACID RECYCLING INHIBITORS FOR TREATMENT OF HYPERCHOLEMIA AND CHOLESTATIC LIVER DISEASE
Provided herein are methods of treating or ameliorating hypercholemia or a cholestatic liver disease by administering to an individual in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of an Apical Sodium-dependent Bile Acid Transporter Inhibitor (ASBTI) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Also provided are methods for treating or ameliorating a liver disease, decreasing the levels of serum bile acids or hepatic bile acids, treating or ameliorating pruritis, reducing liver enzymes, or reducing bilirubin comprising administering to an individual in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of ASBTI or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
IONIZABLE AMINE LIPIDS AND LIPID NANOPARTICLES
The disclosure provides ionizable amine lipids and salts thereof (e.g., pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof) useful for the delivery of biologically active agents, for example delivering biologically active agents to cells to prepare engineered cells. The ionizable amine lipids disclosed herein are useful as ionizable lipids in the formulation of lipid nanoparticle-based compositions.

A COMPOUND FOR THE DETERMINATION OF THE PROTEIN FKBP12 AND A SENSOR UNIT COMPRISING IT
The present invention relates to novel compounds useful as sensors for the rapid and specific determination of the FKBP12 protein, a peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPlase), the levels of which in the biological fluids of a subject change if the subject is affected by pathological conditions, in particular neurodegenerative diseases, such as the Parkinson's disease and the Alzheimer's syndrome, tumour pathologies, autoimmune diseases, or if that subject is in a phase of acute rejection after organ transplantation.
