Oxaborole esters and uses thereof
The present invention provides oxaborole ester compounds and compositions thereof which are useful to treat diseases associated with parasites, such as Chagas Disease and African Animal Trypanosomosis.
NOVEL SUBSTITUTED CONDENSED RING COMPOUND
The present invention provides a novel compound having an excellent β-lactamase inhibitory effect. The present invention provides: a compound which has an excellent β-lactamase inhibitory effect, and is represented by formula (1a), (1b) or (11); or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. This compound provides a prophylactic or therapeutic agent effective for bacterial infections when used in combination with β-lactam-based drugs or used as a single agent. The present invention also provides a prophylactic or therapeutic agent effective for treating various diseases, by being used in combination with β-lactam-based drugs.
SSTR5 ANTAGONISTS
This disclosure is directed, at least in part, to SSTR5 antagonists useful for the treatment of conditions or disorders involving the gut-brain axis. In some embodiments, the SSTR5 antagonists are gut-restricted compounds. In some embodiments, the condition or disorder is a metabolic disorder, such as diabetes, obesity, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), or a nutritional disorder such as short bowel syndrome.
BORONATE ESTER COMPOUNDS AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS THEREOF
The present invention provides novel compounds useful as proteasome inhibitors. The invention also provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds of the invention and methods of using the compositions in the treatment of various diseases.
CYCLOPROPYLAMINES AS LSD1 INHIBITORS
This invention relates to the use of cyclopropylamine derivatives for the modulation, notably the inhibition of the activity of Lysine-specific demethylase 1 (LSD1). Suitably, the present invention relates to the use of cyclopropylamines in the treatment of cancer.
MICROBIOCIDAL BENZOXABOROLES
Compounds of formula (I) are as defined in the claims, and their use in compositions and methods for the control and/or prevention of microbial infection, particularly fungal infection, in plants and to processes for the preparation of these compounds.

Substituted imidazo[4,5-b]pyridines, imidazo[4,5-b]pyrazines, and oxazolo[4,5- b]pyrazines as mitochondrial uncouplers
The disclosure provides compounds of Formula (I-A) and (I-B) and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The variables, R, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, X.sup.1, X.sup.2, X.sup.3, Y.sup.1, Y, and Z are defined herein. Certain compounds of Formula (I-A) and (I-B) act as selective mitochondrial protonophore uncouplers that do not affect plasma membrane potential. These compounds are useful for treating or decreasing the risk of conditions responsive to mitochondrial uncoupling, such as cancer, obesity, type II diabetes, fatty liver disease, insulin resistance, Parkinson's disease, ischemia reperfusion injury, heart failure, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NALFD), and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), Because mitochondrial uncouplers decrease the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), which are known to contribute to age-related cell damage, the compounds are useful for increasing lifespan. Compounds and salts of Formulae (I-A) and (I-B) are also useful for regulating glucose homeostasis or insulin action in a patient. ##STR00001##
