COMPOSITION COMPRISING PROBIOTICS AND POLYPEPTIDE HAVING BINDING AFFINITY FOR IGE AND USE THEREOF
A composition containing, as active ingredients, probiotics and a polypeptide with a binding ability to IgE is disclosed. In particular, a synergistic effect of remarkably decreasing food allergy was identified at the time of combined administration of probiotics and a recombinant protein containing an extracellular domain of an alpha subunit of an IgE Fc receptor. Therefore, it is expected that the composition is highly industrially applicable due to being able to exhibit a remarkable therapeutic effect on an IgE-mediated allergic disease as compared with conventional pharmaceutical compositions.
Therapeutic Anti-IgE Antibodies and Methods and Compositions Thereof
Disclosed herein are anti-IgE antibodies having low binding affinity to human IgE and compositions and methods thereof.
METHODS OF TREATMENT USING OMALIZUMAB
The present disclosure relates to methods for modifying the course of a disease or disorder involving Treg cells dysfunctioning, in particular in patients having an allergic disease or condition.
ANTI-IgE CONSTRUCT
The present invention provides a protein construct comprising: a) at least two monomers each of which comprises a C-type lectin domain of CD23, wherein each monomer can bind to IgE; and b) an entity which can bind to the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn); wherein said protein construct comprises a linker, and wherein said linker is used to link said monomer comprising a C-type lectin domain of CD23 to said entity which can bind to FcRn. Therapeutic uses of the constructs, for example in anti-IgE therapy or for use in the treatment or prevention of an IgE related disease or condition are also provided.
Fc VARIANTS THAT IMPROVE FcRn BINDING AND/OR INCREASE ANTIBODY HALF-LIFE
The present invention discloses the generation of novel variants of Fc domains, including those found in antibodies, Fc fusions, and immuno-adhesions, which have an increased binding to the FcRn receptor and/or increased serum half-life.
TREATMENT OF IGE-MEDIATED DISEASES
The present invention relates to the treatment of IgE mediated diseases using an anti-IgE antibody. In particular, the anti-IgE antibody is a multifunctional antibody against IgE, which neutralizes IgE and inhibits IgE synthesis. Specifically, the treatment of the present invention is effective in providing a rapid and/or sustained suppression of disease symptoms.
PROCESS FOR CONCENTRATION OF ANTIBODIES AND THERAPEUTIC PRODUCTS THEREOF
This present disclosure provides a process for concentrating proteins including an ultrafiltering, a diafiltering, and a second ultrafiltering sequence, at elevated temperatures, such as above about 30° C. The disclosure also includes a process of preparing highly concentrated antibody compositions. and highly concentrated antibody products.
LUCIFERASE LINKED IMMUNOSORBENT ASSAY
The present invention relates to a fusion protein comprising: —a N-terminal domain which comprises an antibody which is a variable domain of a camelid heavy-chain antibody (VHH) or a single chain variable fragment (scFV) and which is directed against an immunoglobulin and —a C-terminal domain which comprises a polypeptide with a luciferase activity: —having the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 1 or —having at least 80% amino acid sequence identity to the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 1.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR ATTENUATING ANTI-VIRAL TRANSFER VECTOR IGM RESPONSES
Provided herein are methods and related compositions or kits for administering viral transfer vectors in combination with synthetic nanocarriers comprising an immunosuppressant and an anti-IgM agent.
Conjugates of tumor necrosis factor inhibitors to functionalized polymers
This document relates to conjugates of TNF inhibitors or derivatives thereof and functionalized (e.g., mono- or bi-functional) polymers (e.g., polyethylene glycol and related polymers) as well as methods and materials for making and using such conjugates.
