In an embodiment of the invention, a composition for treating a cell population comprises a medicant. The medicant moiety can be an illudofulvene analog. In an embodiment of the invention, a composition for treating a cell population comprises an Affinity Medicant Conjugate (AMC). The affinity moiety can be an antibody, an antibody fragment, a receptor protein, a peptidic growth factor, an anti-angiogenic protein, a specific binding peptide, protease cleavable peptide, a glycopeptide, a peptide, a peptidic toxin, a protein toxin and an oligonucleotide. The affinity moiety can be covalently bound to the medicant via a linker.
GRANZYME B INHIBITOR COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR THE PREVENTION AND/OR TREATMENT OF SKIN BLISTERING AND/OR PEELING
Methods for using compositions comprising a Granzyme B inhibitor and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier for treating and/or preventing blistering and/or peeling of a skin of a subject are provided. Also provided are methods for using the compositions to improve the healing of a blistered or area of peeled skin of a subject. The compositions can be formulated for oral administration, nasal administration, topical administration, subcorneal administration, intra-epidermal administration, sub-epidermal administration, or for administration by injection.
RILUZOLE PRODRUGS AND THEIR USE
Pharmaceutical compositions of the invention include substituted riluzole prodrugs useful for the treatment of cancers including melanoma, breast cancer, brain cancer, and prostate cancer through the release of riluzole. Prodrugs of riluzole have enhanced stability to hepatic metabolism and are delivered into systemic circulation by oral administration, and then cleaved to release riluzole in the plasma via either an enzymatic or general biophysical release process.
AFFINITY ILLUDOFULVENE CONJUGATES
Formulation of modified interleukin-7 fusion protein
Provided is a pharmaceutical formulation comprising a modified IL-7 protein. More particularly, it comprises (a) a modified IL-7 fusion protein; (b) a basal buffer with a concentration of 10 to 50 mM; (c) a sugar with a concentration of 2.5 to 5 w/v %; and (d) a surfactant with a concentration of 0.05 to 6 w/v %. Such pharmaceutical formulation of a modified IL-7 fusion protein does not show aggregates formation, but shows protective effects on proteins under stress conditions such as oxidation or agitation, and thus can effectively be used for the treatment of a patient.

The present invention provides compounds of formula (I)
##STR00001## wherein X.sup.1 to X.sup.8 and R.sup.1 to R.sup.8 are as described herein, as well as pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. Further the present invention is concerned with the manufacture of the compounds of formula (I), pharmaceutical compositions comprising them and their use as medicaments for the treatment of diseases and infections caused by Acinetobacter baumannii.
LABYRINTHIN-BASED PEPTIDES FOR CANCER IMMUNOTHERAPIES AND USES THEREOF
Antigenic compositions comprising one or more labyrinthin-derived peptides are described herein. In some embodiment, each peptide of the antigenic composition comprises a T-cell epitope and/or a B-cell epitope. In other aspects, the present disclosure provides, e.g., vaccine compositions comprising tin antigenic composition disclosed herein, including kits, medicines, and compositions (such as pharmaceutical compositions and unit dosages) thereof. Also provided are methods of using the compositions disclosed herein, such as methods of treatment thereof and methods of producing antibodies, and antibody compositions thereof, against the one or more labyrinthin-derived peptides or a portion thereof.
BRONCHIAL EMBOLIZATION MATERIAL
A material for endobronchial occlusion capable of repairing or replacing tissue is disclosed. The material contains a protein (A), wherein the protein (A) contains at least one of a polypeptide chain (Y) or a polypeptide chain (Y′), a total number of the polypeptide chain (Y) and the polypeptide chain (Y′) in the protein (A) is 1 to 100, the polypeptide chain (Y) is a polypeptide chain consisting of 2 to 200 tandem repeats of at least one amino acid sequence (X) among an amino acid sequence VPGVG, an amino acid sequence GVGVP 4, GPP, GAP, and an amino acid sequence GAHGPAGPK, the polypeptide chain (Y′) is a polypeptide chain in which each of a total of 5% or less of amino acids in the polypeptide chain (Y) is replaced by at least one of a lysine residue or an arginine residue, with a total number of the lysine and arginine residues being 1 to 100.
