Ethylene interpolymer products and films

This disclosure relates to ethylene interpolymer compositions and films prepared therefrom. Specifically: ethylene interpolymer products having: a dimensionless Long Chain Branching Factor, LCBF, greater than or equal to 0.001; a residual catalytic metal of from ≥0.03 to ≤5 ppm of hafnium, and; a dimensionless unsaturation ratio, UR, of from ≥−0.40 to ≤0.06, wherein UR is defined by the following relationship; UR=(SC.sup.U−T.sup.U)/T.sup.U, where SC.sup.U is the amount of a side chain unsaturation per 100 carbons and T.sup.U is amount of a terminal unsaturation per 100 carbons, in said ethylene interpolymer product. The disclosed ethylene interpolymer products have a melt index from about 0.3 to about 500 dg/minute, a density from about 0.855 to about 0.975 g/cc, a polydispersity (M.sub.w/M.sub.n) from about 1.7 to about 25 and a Composition Distribution Breadth Index (CDBI.sub.50) from about 1% to about 98%.

This disclosure relates to ethylene interpolymer compositions and films prepared therefrom. Method of producing polyethylene and polyethylene thereof

A system and method of producing polyethylene, including: polymerizing ethylene in presence of a catalyst system in a reactor to form polyethylene, wherein the catalyst system includes a first catalyst and a second catalyst; and adjusting reactor conditions and an amount of the second catalyst fed to the reactor to control melt index (MI), density, and melt flow ratio (MFR) of the polyethylene.

Method of producing polyethylene and polyethylene thereof

A system and method of producing polyethylene, including: polymerizing ethylene in presence of a catalyst system in a reactor to form polyethylene, wherein the catalyst system includes a first catalyst and a second catalyst; and adjusting reactor conditions and an amount of the second catalyst fed to the reactor to control melt index (MI), density, and melt flow ratio (MFR) of the polyethylene.

POLYMERS WITH LOW LEVELS OF VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS AND METHODS OF MAKING SUCH POLYMERS

Polypropylenes and impact copolymers with low organic volatiles. The impact copolymers comprising a polypropylene and within a range from 5 wt% to 40 wt% of an ethylene-propylene copolymer or rubber, by weight of the impact copolymer; wherein the polypropylene has a melt flow rate within a range from 100 g/10 min to 400 g/10 min, and the impact copolymer has a melt flow rate within a range from 15 g/10 min to 150 g/10 min; and wherein there are less than 1000 .Math.g of oligomer per gram of impact copolymer. The polymers may be made by combining olefins with the reaction product of a solid magnesium compound and a halogen-containing titanium compound with at least one phthalic acid ester compound and at least one diether compound as internal electron donors.

ETHYLENE COPOLYMER FOR BIAXIAL ORIENTATION

An ethylene copolymer comprising ethylene and at least one alpha olefin having from 4 to 8 carbon atoms has a density f from 0.940 to 0.960 g/cm.sup.3, a molecular weight distribution, Mw/Mn of from 9 to 12, and a Z-average molecular weight, Mz of greater than 500,000. The ethylene copolymer is made in a multi-zone reactor system under solution phase polymerization conditions and is useful in the preparation of biaxially oriented polyethylene (BOPE) films.

ETHYLENE COPOLYMER FOR BIAXIAL ORIENTATION

An ethylene copolymer comprising ethylene and at least one alpha olefin having from 4 to 8 carbon atoms has a density f from 0.940 to 0.960 g/cm.sup.3, a molecular weight distribution, Mw/Mn of from 9 to 12, and a Z-average molecular weight, Mz of greater than 500,000. The ethylene copolymer is made in a multi-zone reactor system under solution phase polymerization conditions and is useful in the preparation of biaxially oriented polyethylene (BOPE) films.

Polyolefin Compositions and Articles Thereof

In some embodiments, a polyethylene composition includes has 80 wt % to 99.9 wt % ethylene content and 20 wt % to 0.1 wt % a C3 to C40 α-olefin comonomer content, based on ethylene content plus comonomer content. The composition has a Mw/Mn of 15 to 45, a density of 0.93 g/cm.sup.3 to 0.97 g/cm.sup.3, a complex viscosity (at 628 rad/s, 190° C.) of 600 Pa*s or less, a zero shear viscosity by Cross model of 150,000 Pa*s to 350,000 Pa*s. It may also have a V index of less than 7. In some embodiments, an article includes the polyethylene composition. In some embodiments, the article is a pipe.
