The present invention relates to a urethane prepolymer having an isocyanate group, a viscosity at 100° C. of 30 to 600 dPa.Math.s, and a thermal softening temperature after moisture curing of 75 to 155° C.
HYPERBRANCHED POLYMER MODIFIED WITH ISOCYANATE LINKER AND MIX OF SHORT AND LONG CHAIN ALKYL POLYETHER
The invention relates to a hyperbranched polymer comprising:
a) a hyperbranched polycondensate with hydroxyl end groups, amino end groups, or a combination thereof condensed to
b) one or more linking groups connected to
c1) one or more polyethylene glycol monomethyl ethers and
c2) one or more poly(C.sub.2-C.sub.3)alkylene glycol mono-(C.sub.8-C.sub.22)-alkyl ethers,
wherein the weight ratio of components c1):c2) is from 9:1 to 1:9. It further relates to a process for producing the polymer, to a composition comprising the polymer and an active ingredient, and to a method for controlling phytopathogenic fungi or undesired vegetation or insect or acarid infestations or for regulating the growth of plants.
Carbodiimide Curing For Packaging Coating Compositions
Coated packages and methods for coating such packages is disclosed The coating compositions comprise a carboxyl-containing polymer and a polycarbodiimide.
Polyurethane cementing wiper plugs
A method for operation in wellbore, the method comprises: pumping a fluid barrier into a wellbore through a tubular, the fluid barrier being operable to separate a cement slurry from a second fluid; the fluid barrier comprising a polyurethane member derived from a polyurethane forming composition comprising a para-phenylene diisocyanate terminated polycarbonate prepolymer and an aromatic diol.
ONE-PACK POLYURETHANE DISPERSIONS, THEIR MANUFACTURE AND USE
Described herein is a method of manufacturing a one-pack polyurethane dispersion, where the dispersion includes a polyurethane containing hydroxyl groups and at least one group selected from the group consisting of acid groups and polyalkoxylene groups, the acid groups of the polyurethane, if present, being neutralized to an extent from 0 to 100 mol-% of the acid groups; and a fully blocked polyisocyanate; where the method includes obtaining a mixture A; reacting a hydroxy-functional polymer with mixture A, thus-obtaining a mixture B; and neutralizing 0 to 100 mol-% of the acid groups, if contained in mixture B, based on the total amount of acid groups in mixture B. Also described herein are one-pack polyurethane dispersions obtainable according to the method, one-pack coating materials including the same and coated substrates including cured coating materials.
