A modified polyisobutylene-based polymer, method of making, and a medical device that includes such polymer, wherein the modified polyisobutylene-based polymer includes urethane, urea, or urethane-urea groups, hard segments, and soft segments, wherein the soft segments comprise phenoxy-containing polyisobutylene residues, and the hard segments include diisocyanate residues and optionally chain extender residues.
POLYMERS, COATING COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING SUCH POLYMERS, AND ANTI-FINGERPRINT COATINGS FORMED THEREFROM
A substrate at least partially coated with an anti-fingerprint coating is prepared from a coating composition that includes: (a) an organic solvent; and (b) an alkoxysilane functional polymer having at least one ester linkage, at least one urethane linkage, and at least one alkoxysilane functional group. Further, the polymer is prepared from components including: (i) an active hydrogen functional compound having a hydroxyl group, amino group, thiol group, or a combination thereof; (ii) an intramolecular cyclic ester; and (iii) an isocyanate functional compound. The isocyanate functional compound (iii) has one or more alkoxysilane functional groups. Alkoxysilane functional polymers and coating compositions containing the same are also included.

A crosslinkable composition containing: a liquid monocyclic olefin ring-opened polymer (A) having a reactive group at a polymer chain end thereof and a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of 1,000 to 50,000; and a crosslinkable compound (B) having, in the molecule, two or more functional groups reactive with the reactive group at the polymer chain end of the monocyclic olefin ring-opened polymer (A).

The present invention provides an optically clear adhesive sheet using a heat-curable polyurethane composition, wherein the optically clear adhesive sheet can, when bonded to an adherend such as a glass plate, prevent the occurrence of air bubbles even at high temperature and normal humidity and maintain a stable bonded interface. The optically clear adhesive sheet of the present invention is an optically clear adhesive sheet containing: a cured product of a heat-curable polyurethane composition, the heat-curable polyurethane composition containing a polyol component and a polyisocyanate component, the polyol component having an olefin skeleton, the polyisocyanate component containing an acyclic aliphatic polyisocyanate and/or an alicyclic polyisocyanate.
THERMALLY-CONDUCTIVE STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE FOR NEW ENERGY POWER BATTERY AND METHOD OF PREPARING SAME
A thermally-conductive structural adhesive for new energy power batteries, including: composition A including 3.3-14 wt. % of a block polymerized telechelic carboxyl compound and/or a block polymerized telechelic amino compound; 0.1-1.0 wt. % of a coupling agent and/or a modifier; 0-1.6 wt. % of curing accelerator; 84-92 wt. % of a thermally-conductive powder; and 0.3-3.0 wt. % of a flame retardant agent; and composition B including 3.3-14 wt. % of a block polymerized telechelic isocyanate compound and/or a block polymerized telechelic epoxy compound; 0-1.0 wt. % of a coupling agent and/or a modifier; 0-1.6 wt. % of a curing accelerator; 84-92 wt. % of a thermally-conductive powder; and 0.3-3 wt. % of a flame retardant agent. The composition A and the composition B are mixed evenly in a weight or volume ratio of 1:(0.25-2) and cured to obtain the thermally-conductive structural adhesive. A preparation of the thermally-conductive structural adhesive is also provided.
STRUCTURAL POLYURETHANE ADHESIVE
A structural polyurethane adhesive includes a polyisocyanate component containing a urethane prepolymer having an isocyanate group at its terminal and a derivative of xylylene diisocyanate; and a polyol component containing a macropolyol having a number average molecular weight of 500 or more and 10000 or less, and an average number of hydroxyl groups of 1.9 or more and 4.0 or less.
Elastomer material modified by a hybrid hard segment material and preparation method thereof
An elastomer material includes at least two components; the first component includes isocyanate prepolymer obtained through reaction of polyol and isocyanate, and its —NCO content is 22-30%; the second component includes 50-70 parts of polyether amine, 2-10 parts of liquid amine chain extender, 5-15 parts of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, and 1-15 parts of hybrid hard segment material; the hybrid hard segment material includes one or more of nano titanium dioxide, nano aluminum oxide and nano silica. Through adjusting the —NCO content of the isocyanate prepolymer, increasing the hard segment content, and combining with the components in the second component, the invention ensures the elasticity of the polymer while improving its mechanical properties, and also improves the electrical insulation and wear resistance of the material.

End-capped polyisobutylene polyurethane
A polymeric material includes a polyisobutylene-polyurethane block copolymer. The polyisobutylene-polyurethane block copolymer includes soft segments, hard segments, and end groups. The soft segments include a polyisobutylene diol residue. The hard segments include a diisocyanate residue. The end groups are bonded by urea bonds to a portion of the diisocyanate residue. The end groups include a residue of a mono-functional amine.
