REMOVAL OF MONOMERIC ALIPHATIC DIISOCYANATE IN AN ALIPHATIC POLYISOCYANATE USING SCAVENGERS
The present invention relates to a process for the effective removal of residual monomeric aliphatic isocyanate from a reaction mixture comprising aliphatic polyisocyanate comprising (i) providing a reactor containing a scavenger comprising a zeolitic material, wherein the zeolitic material comprises SiO.sub.2 and optionally X.sub.2O.sub.3 in its framework structure, wherein X is a trivalent element; (ii) providing a reaction mixture comprising aliphatic polyisocyanate and monomeric aliphatic isocyanate; (iii) contacting the scavenger in the reactor with the reaction mixture provided in (ii) at a temperature lower than the boiling point of the residual monomeric aliphatic isocyanate for obtaining a product comprising aliphatic polyisocyanate with a reduced monomeric aliphatic isocyanate content, wherein if the zeolitic material comprises X.sub.2O.sub.3, the zeolitic material has an SiO.sub.2 to X.sub.2O.sub.3 molar ratio higher than 2.8:1, preferably higher than 5:1, more preferably higher than 30:1.
LAMINATED FILM
The present invention provides an environment-responsive laminated film including an inorganic thin film layer and a protective layer in this order on a substrate film layer using a polyester resin recycled from PET bottles. The laminated film has excellent barrier properties and adhesiveness even after a severe wet heat treatment and has less deterioration in appearance of the film even after retorting. The laminated film comprises a substrate film; an inorganic thin film layer on at least one surface of the substrate film; and a protective layer containing a urethane resin on the inorganic thin film layer, wherein (a) the substrate film contains 50% by weight or more of a polyester resin recycled from PET bottles; (b) standard deviation of a haze after retorting the laminated film at 130° C. for 30 minutes is 0.5% or less; and (c) an adhesion amount of the protective layer is 0.5 g/m.sup.2 or less.

Two-component solventless adhesive compositions and methods of making same
The present disclosure provides a two-component solventless adhesive composition comprising a polyol component and an isocyanate component. The polyol component comprises a phosphate functional compound, and at least one polyol selected from polyester, polyether, and the combination thereof; and the isocyanate component comprises isocyanate prepolymer that is the reaction product of at least one isocyanate monomer and at least one polyol selected from polyester, polyether, and the combination thereof.
ONE PART, CATALYST CONTAINING, MOISTURE CURABLE DUAL CURE RESINS FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
Provided is method of making a three-dimensional object comprising polyurea, which may include: (a) dispensing a one part (1K) dual cure resin into a stereolithography apparatus, the resin comprising or consisting essentially of a photoinitiator, a reactive blocked polyisocyanate, optionally a catalyst such as a polyurethane blowing catalyst, and optionally a polyepoxide; (b) additively manufacturing from said resin an intermediate object comprising the light polymerization product of said reactive blocked polyisocyanate; (c) optionally cleaning said intermediate object; and (d) reacting said polymerization product in said intermediate with water in the presence of a catalyst such as a polyurethane blowing catalyst (which may be included in the resin, the water, or both) to generate polyamine in situ that sequentially reacts with the remainder of the polymerization product to form urea linkages and thereby produce a three-dimensional object comprising polyurea. Dual cure resins useful for the method are also provided.
A SELF-HEALING, REPROCESSABLE AND RECYCLABLE CROSSLINKED POLYMER AND PROCESS FOR ITS PREPARATION

Polymerisable plasticiser, liquid polyurethane resin composition comprising same and uses thereof
The present invention relates to a polymerisable plasticiser formed by a hydrocarbon chain, one end of which bears more than one isocyanate function, said hydrocarbon chain comprising and/or being substituted by an aromatic ring and/or an aliphatic ring and/or said hydrocarbon chain is substituted by at least two hydrocarbon chains that can comprise an unsaturation, and the number of isocyanate functions being strictly greater than 1, preferably greater than 1.2, and, more preferably, grater than 1.5 but less than or equal to 2.2. The invention also relates to liquid polyurethane resin compositions and, in particular, stable, ready-to-use liquid polyurethane resin compositions comprising said plasticiser. The invention further relates to methods for replacing all or part of the exogenous plasticiser and/or solvent in a polyurethane resin by adding said polymerisable plasticiser.
Eyewear material, eyewear frame, and eyewear
The eyewear material is an eyewear material containing thermoplastic polyurethane. The eyewear material has a tan δ peak at both less than 0° C. and 0° C. or more and 70° C. or less observed in dynamic viscoelasticity measurement in tensile mode under the measurement conditions of a temperature increase speed of 5° C./min and a measurement frequency of 10 Hz.
Two-Component Solvent-Based Adhesive Composition
The present disclosure provides a two-component solvent-based adhesive composition. The two-component solvent-based adhesive composition contains the reaction product of (A) an isocyanate component; (B) a polyol component containing a polyester-amide polycarbonate polyol; and (C) a solvent. The present disclosure also provides a method of forming the two-component solvent-based adhesive composition.
