Polymer comprising repeating units consisting of a substituted pyrrole ring and products obtained by combining said polymers with carbon allotropes
The present invention relates to a polymer comprising repeating units consisting of a substituted pyrrole ring. In particular, the repeating units consist of substituted pyrrole containing polar groups capable of interacting with carbon allotropes such as carbon nanotubes, graphene or nanographites, in order to improve the chemical-physical characteristics of the allotropes mainly by increasing their dispersibility and stability in liquid media and in polymer matrices. The invention also relates to products of addition of these polymers with carbon allotropes in order to obtain easily dispersible macromolecules.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SOLID POLYURETHANE CURING AGENTS
The present invention relates to a process for producing a solid, internally and externally blocked polyurethane curing agent based on a (cyclo)aliphatic polyisocyanate, in which, in the sequence of steps a) to d), a) i) at least one internally blocked (cyclo)aliphatic polyisocyanate and ii) at least one lactam and/or at least one aliphatic alcohol are dissolved in a solvent to produce a reaction mixture, b) the reaction mixture is heated and reacted, c) the reacted reaction mixture is cooled until product precipitates, and d) liquid solvent and any unreacted dissolved reactants and precipitated product are mechanically separated from one another.

TWO COMPONENT COATING COMPOSITIONS
Disclosed is a coating composition comprising a first component and a second component. The first component comprises a diluent and a carbodiimide present in an amount of no more than 50 percent by weight based on total weight of the coating composition. The second component comprises a curing agent that chemically reacts with the carbodiimide, the curing agent comprising an active hydrogen-containing compound. The coating composition may be an adhesive composition or a sealant composition. Also disclosed is a method for treating a substrate comprising contacting at least a portion of a surface of the substrate with a composition of the present invention. Also disclosed is a substrate comprising a surface at least partially coated with a layer formed from a composition of the present invention. Also disclosed is an article comprising a first substrate and a second substrate and a composition of the present invention positioned between the first and second substrates.
CRASH DURABLE, STRESS DURABLE AND WELDABLE EPOXY ADHESIVES
Liquid epoxy-based adhesive compositions are provided, which upon curing result in crash durable and stress resistant cured bonds on both steel and other materials, in particular metals such as aluminum; and in some embodiments are weldable in an uncured state; also provided are bonded assemblies comprising the cured epoxy-based adhesives, methods of making the liquid epoxy-based adhesives, methods of bonding assemblies and articles of manufacture comprising the bonded assemblies.
