MICROELECTRONIC PACKAGE ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD) PROTECTION

Embodiments may relate to a microelectronic package comprising: a die and a package substrate coupled to the die with a first interconnect on a first face. The package substrate comprises: a second interconnect and a third interconnect on a second face opposite to the first face; a conductive signal path between the first interconnect and the second interconnect; a conductive ground path between the second interconnect and the third interconnect; and an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection material coupled to the conductive ground path. The ESD protection material comprises a first electrically-conductive carbon allotrope having a first functional group, a second electrically-conductive carbon allotrope having a second functional group, and an electrically-conductive polymer chemically bonded to the first functional group and the second functional group permitting an electrical signal to pass between the first and second electrically-conductive carbon allotropes.

Fluorescent methods and materials for directed biomarker signal amplification

Methods and compositions are provided that include a multichromophore and/or multichromophore complex for identifying a target biomolecule. A sensor biomolecule, for example, an antibody can be covalently linked to the multichromophore. Additionally, a signaling chromophore can be covalently linked to the multichromophore. The arrangement is such that the signaling chromophore is capable of receiving energy from the multichromophore upon excitation of the multichromophore. Since the sensor biomolecule is capable of interacting with the target biomolecule, the multichromophore and/or multichromophore complex can provide enhanced detection signals for a target biomolecule.

OVERSUBSCRIPTION SCHEDULING

A system for adjusting oversubscription loading includes an interface and a processor. The interface is configured to receive a set of performance data from a set of worker systems. The processor is configured to determine a feedback indication for a worker system of the set of worker systems based at least in part on the set of performance data. The feedback indication is used to adjust an oversubscription controller on the worker system. The processor is configured to provide the feedback indication to the worker system.

NAPHTHOL RESIN, EPOXY RESIN, EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITION, AND CURED PRODUCTS THEREOF

There are provided a naphthol resin and an epoxy resin that impart characteristics such as high heat resistance, a low dielectric loss tangent, and a low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), and an epoxy resin composition including the naphthol resin or the epoxy resin as an essential component, and cured products thereof. A naphthol resin which is represented by the following formula:

##STR00001##

where R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and n represents the number of repetitions and is a number of 2 to 10, and in which, in terms of area ratio in GPC measurement, a ratio of components for which n=6 or more is 15% or more, and a ratio of components for which n=1 in GPC is 30% or less, and a hydroxy group equivalent is 260 to 400 g/eq.

Thiol-based post-modification of conjugated polymers

The present invention provides novel polymer compounds and methods and processes for polymerizing and synthesizing the new polymers by post-modifying conjugated polymers bearing unsaturated functionalities. The post-modifications are facilitated by light-mediated initiators, thermal initiators, redox-based initiators, small molecule-based initiators, or a combination thereof. Syntheses and post-modifications are carried out to high conversion via thiol-ene “click” chemistry-based mechanisms. The products comprise monomeric, oligomeric, and polymeric materials with easily-accessible pendant functionalities which impart new, distinct, and/or improved properties.
