The present invention relates to a cross-linkable composition comprising: i) a fluorinated ,-bis(propargyl) oligomer of formula (I): in which m is 1 to 100, e.g. 1 to 93, n is 2 to 150, e.g. 1 to 128, p is 0 to 2, preferably 0 or 1.75, and n, m and p are selected such that the fluorinated ,-bis(propargyl) oligomer of formula (I) has a number average molar mass Mn of 400 to 25000; ii) a cross-linking agent comprising at least three azide-N.sub.3 groups; and iii) optionally, a fluorinated oligomer comprising two terminal azide-N3 or fluorinated ,-bis(azide) oligomer groups. The invention also relates to a material comprising the click chemistry reaction product of the cross-linkable composition of the invention, to a method for preparing said material and to the uses thereof.
Alkynyl multi-arm polyethylene glycol derivative
The present invention provides an alkynyl multi-arm polyethylene glycol derivative having a structure of a general formula I or general formula X VIII. In the derivative, X1, X2, X3 and X4 are linking groups, F1, F2, F3 and F4 are end groups, the end groups may be the same or may also be different, and are selected from: hydroxy, carboxyl, ester group, amino, alkynyl or the like, at least one of the end groups is alkynyl, and PEG is the same or different (CH.sub.2CH.sub.2O).sub.m, wherein m is an integer ranging from 3 to 250, and l is an integer greater than or equal to 1. The multi-arm polyethylene glycol derivatives have stronger application flexibility, and have good application prospect in aspects such as organic synthesis, medicine synthesis and medical instruments. ##STR00001##
CYCLIC OLIGO(ARYLENE ETHER)S, PROCESSES FOR THEIR PREPARATION AND THEIR USE
The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of a cyclic oligo(arylene ether) which can be a cyclic oligo(dichloromethylene arylene ether) or a cyclic oligo(arylene ether ketone); the process comprises the step of causing an aromatic compound to react with a hexachloroxylene compound in a pseudo-high dilution environment. The invention relates also to new cyclic oligo(arylene ether)s and their use for the manufacture of acyclic poly (arylene ether)s, such as PEKK, by ring-opening polymerization.
FLUOROETHER UNIT-BASED THERMOSTABLE, LOW-TG AND THERMOSETTING CROSS-LINKED MATERIALS
