PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF DISPERSING AGENTS IN A SOLID FORM AND THEIR USE IN MINERAL BINDING COMPOSITIONS
A process for preparing powdered dispersants comprising at least 90% by weight of at least one copolymer CP of the polycarboxylate ether type. The powdered dispersants can be easily dispersed in water. The invention also relates to the use of such powdered dispersants in mineral binder compositions, in particular dry mortars, concrete or gypsum formulations.
METHOD OF MAKING A POLYMERSOME
The present invention provides polymersomes comprising amphiphilic block-copolymers and their use to quantify ammonia in samples (e.g., body fluid samples). More particularly, it provides a polymersome comprising (a) a membrane, which comprises a block copolymer of poly(styrene) (PS) and poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO), wherein the PS/PEO molecular weight ratio is higher than 1.0 and lower than 4.0; and (b) a core which encloses an acid and at least one pH-sensitive dye. Compositions, strips and kits comprising the polymersomes are also provided along with methods of quantifying ammonia in a sample using the polymersomes, compositions and kit.
pH Responsive Block Copolymers Compositions, Micelles, and Methods of Use
Described herein are therapeutic pH responsive compositions comprising a block copolymer and a therapeutic agent useful for the treatment of cancer.
ANTISTATIC AGENT FOR THERMOPLASTIC RESIN
An antistatic agent for thermoplastic resins (Z) containing a block polymer (A) having a block of a hydrophobic polymer (a) and a block of a hydrophilic polymer (b) as structure units, and a C6-C18 branched alkylbenzenesulfonate (S); an antistatic resin composition (Y) containing the antistatic agent (Z) and a thermoplastic resin (E); and a molded article of the antistatic resin composition (Y).
Biological ink
The present application relates to a composition, which comprises: (a) a photopolymerizable substance; (b) a thiol; (c) a photoinitiator; (d) a thermosensitive polymer; and (e) water, and can be used as a bio-ink for preparing a bio-hydrogel for direct-writing 3D printing. The present invention further relates to a method for preparing the composition, and a direct-writing 3D printing method using the composition.
Methods to enhance soil water infiltration and to reduce soil water repellency using a surfactant composition
A method of enhancing soil water infiltration (SWI) and/or reducing soil water repellency (SWR) comprising: treating an area of groundcover with a composition A comprising A1) a block polymer (P) comprising at least one polyethyleneoxide moiety and at least one polypropyleneoxide moiety, and A2) an alcohol alkoxylate (E), wherein the SWI of the area of groundcover is enhanced and/or the SWR of the area of groundcover is reduced after treatment with the composition A.
