A dry tape material for fiber placement includes a plurality of reinforcing fiber strands that satisfy (i) to (iii): (i) the reinforcing fiber strand has thicknesses T1 and T3 at both ends in a width direction of a section of the reinforcing fiber strand, and both T1 and T3 are 50 to 200% relative to a thickness T2 at a central portion of the reinforcing fiber strand, (ii) the reinforcing fiber strand has a number of filaments N and a width W that satisfy a relationship of 4.8<N/W<12, and (iii) the reinforcing fiber strand has a form kept by a first resin material having a glass transition temperature Tg or a melting point Tm of 40° C. to 200° C., the first resin material being heat-meltable, wherein the plurality of reinforcing fiber strands are bound and integrated with each other by a second resin material.
Hydrothermal treatment of renewable raw material
The present invention relates to a particulate carbon material that can be produced from renewable raw materials, in particular from biomass containing lignin, comprising: a 14C content that corresponds to that of the renewable raw materials, said content being preferably greater than 0.20 Bq/g carbon, especially preferably greater than 0.23 Bq/g carbon, but preferably less than 0.45 Bq/g carbon in each case; a carbon content in relation to the ash-free dry substance of between 60 ma. % and 80 ma. %; an STSA surface area of the primary particles of at least 5 m2/g and at most 200 m2/g; and an oil absorption value (OAN) of between 50 ml/100 g and 150 ml/100 g. The present invention also relates to a method for producing said carbon material and to the use thereof.
EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITION FOR PREPREG, AND PREPREG
The epoxy resin composition for a prepreg according to an embodiment of the present invention contains (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a curing agent or a curing accelerator, (C) silica microparticles, and (D) core-shell rubber particles, the epoxy resin composition containing from 1 to 5 parts by mass of (C) the silica microparticles and from 2 to 10 parts by mass of (D) the core-shell rubber particles per 100 parts by mass of (A) the epoxy resin, and a mass ratio of (C) the silica microparticles to (D) the core-shell rubber particles, in terms of (C)/(D), being from 1/1 to 1/5.
High filling and high resilience soft foaming polyethylene material and preparation method thereof
Disclosed is a high filling and high resilience soft foaming polyethylene material, comprising the following parts of raw materials by weight: 15-20 parts polyethylene, 5-20 parts elastomers, 60-80 parts modified calcium carbonate, 1-10 parts chemical foaming agent, 0.5-1.5 parts crosslinking agent and 1-5 parts physical foaming agent. Also disclosed is a method of preparing high filling and high resilience soft foaming polyethylene material. The present invention can prepare a high calcium carbonate filling and high resilience soft foaming polyethylene material with calcium carbonate filler content as high as 55-75%, improving rigidity, hardness and compressive strength of the material while maintaining the elasticity of the foaming material, and reducing material density. The present invention has a simple process, greatly reduces costs and is economical and practical.

Various low-density structures, in particular, sandwich panels, based on foam prepared from the low-density microspheres, are also disclosed. Process of preparing low-density polymeric microspheres, per se, and the corresponding low-density structures, based on the microsphere foam, are also disclosed.
