LIGHT-TRANSMITTING DECORATED MOLDING ARTICLE AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME
A method of fabricating a decorated molding article includes forming an all-in-one coating on a substrate and performing a curing step, thereby forming a composite layer structure with a protective effect, a color effect, and a bonding effect. The composite layer structure may form a molded film with better physical properties (e.g., higher hardness, better protection effect, and the like) after the blister molding process. Therefore, the molded film of the embodiments may be applied to a laser engraving process to form a variety of light-transmitting decorated molding articles.
THIN PLATE MOLDING MATERIAL AND MOLDED ARTICLE
A thin plate molding material includes a resin composition containing a resin component and a filling material, and a reinforced fiber with a predetermined fiber length. The content ratio of the reinforced fiber is a predetermined ratio. The mixing ratio of the resin component is a predetermined ratio.
IMPROVED FAST CURE EPOXY RESINS AND PREPREGS OBTAINED THEREFROM
This invention relates to a composition comprising a semisolid epoxy resin containing a curative dispersed therein. The curative has a particle size such that at least 90% of the particles have a size below 25 pm at ambient temperature of 21° C., wherein the composition further comprises a diluent containing a particulate filler. The composition is used as matrix in prepregs. The use of the diluent increases peel strength of the composition when brought into contact with metal or wood substrate.
RESIN COMPOSITION AND PRODUCT MADE THEREFROM
Provided is a resin composition, comprising epoxy resin, oxydianiline type benzoxazine resin, styrene-maleic anhydride resin and tetra-phenol resin. The resin composition may be baked for producing products such as prepregs, resin films, resin-coated coppers, laminates and printed circuit boards, which satisfy one or more or all of desirable properties such as higher dimensional stability after a reflow process, better thermal resistance after horizontal black oxide process, low dielectric constant, low dissipation factor, high thermal resistance and flame retardancy.
PLASTIC FILM AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
The present invention relates to a plastic film and a method for manufacturing same. A plastic film, which is formed such that at least one part has a curved shape, can have high hardness, impact resistance, scratch resistance and high transparency. The plastic film is light and will not be easily damaged by external pressure and thus can substitute for the existing glass and is expected to be used for various electronic products such as a display and the like. In particular, the plastic film has at least one part in a curved shape and thereby is expected to be used for products in various shapes which cannot be manufactured by means of the existing glass. Moreover, a method for manufacturing a plastic film enables manufacturing of a plastic film having at least one part in a curved shape without curls or cracks as well as simultaneous performing of heat molding and heat curing, thereby increasing the productivity of a plastic film.
Self-healing keyboards
The present subject matter relates to self-healing keyboards. In an example implementation, a self-healing keyboard of an electronic device comprises a self-healing film having a self-healing layer disposed over a keyboard. The self-healing layer is composed of polyurethane, epoxy vinyl ester, epoxy, polyurethane microcapsules filled with silane compound, and a polysiloxane mixture.
HARDCOAT FILM, POLARIZING PLATE, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HARDCOAT FILM
A hardcoat film including a support and a hardcoat layer, in which the support contains a resin as a main component, a film thickness of the hardcoat layer exceeds 20 μm, the hardcoat layer contains a structure derived from a compound which has one alicyclic epoxy group and one ethylenically unsaturated double bond group and has a molecular weight equal to or less than 300, and a structure derived from a compound which has 3 or more ethylenically unsaturated double bond groups, a radical polymerization initiator and a cationic polymerization initiator.
Surface material for coating melamine resin laminates
The present invention relates to the use of an abrasion-resistant surface material for the coating of melamine resin laminates and to a laminate comprising the surface material used in accordance with the invention, and to a method for producing the laminate.
STAINABLE THERMOFORMABLE SHEETS, COMPOSITIONS, AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE
The present disclosure describes thermoformable sheets capable of retaining an absorbing stain, pigmented sealer or clear sealer. The unique resin binder formulations and products include porosity-promoting agents that result in the resin binder having a porous surface capable of being stained, while still having the favorable properties of traditional Thermofoil products. The methods of the invention produce a Thermofoil product that can be stained with a variety of stains and colorants after manufacturing to suit the individual builder's or homeowner's preference.
Prepreg, metal-clad laminate, printed wiring board, and method for producing prepreg
The prepreg includes a first resin layer and a second resin layer disposed on both surfaces of the first resin layer. The first resin layer is a half-cured product of a first resin composition that includes a glass cloth impregnated with the first resin composition and contains no hexagonal boron nitride. The second resin layer is a half-cured product of a second resin composition containing hexagonal boron nitride. The glass cloth has a warp and weft weave density of 54 pieces/25 mm or more. The hexagonal boron nitride has an average particle size ranging from 10 μm to 30 μm. The hexagonal boron nitride is contained in an amount ranging from 20 parts by mass to 40 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of a residual component other than the hexagonal boron nitride in the second resin composition.
