FLAME RETARDANT INSULATION MODULE
A flame retardant insulation module that includes an air layer-forming part including a first air layer-forming part and a second air layer-forming part disposed below the first air layer-forming part, which are disposed so that at least a portion of one does not overlap with a portion of the other; a lower end cover part that covers the lower end of the second air layer-forming part to separate the lower end from an external space; and an intermediate separation part for separating a first air layer and a second air layer. As such, heat insulation performance can be maximized, such that the insulation module has flame retardancy even when a fire occurs.

This invention relates to a foaming composition, comprising at least one ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer; at least one foaming agent; at least one peroxide compound; at least one polyamine; at least one crosslinking enhancer; at least one primary antioxidant; and at least one secondary antioxidant; the content of the crosslinking enhancer is from 0.1 to 3% by weight based on the total weight of the composition. A foaming article cured from the foaming composition under the temperature range of 80 to 120° C. according to the present invention exhibits high initial volume expansion ratio at the baking window from 130 to 200° C. and shows excellent stability after storage.
THERMOPLASTIC POLYMERS FOAMED WITH A SEMICARBAZIDE
A method of preparing a foamed thermoplastic polymer comprises contacting a chemical blowing agent (A) which is a semi-carbazide with a thermoplastic polymer or a precursor of a thermoplastic polymer. Blowing agent (A) is preferably p-toluenesulfonyl semi-carbazide and said polymer is preferably PVC. Formulations, including liquid formulations which include the blowing agent (A) and other ingredients, are also described.
Ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated polyene interpolymer compositions and articles prepared from the same
A composition composed of at least a first ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated polyene interpolymer, which can be used to produce low compression set, foamed rubber materials, articles made from the composition, and methods of producing the composition and articles.
POLYESTER PREPOLYMERS AS IMPACT MODIFIERS IN EPOXY FORMULATIONS
What is described is a polymer which is a polyurethane polymer having blocked isocyanate groups or a reaction product of said polyurethane polymer with at least one epoxy resin, where the polyurethane polymer having blocked isocyanate groups is an addition product formed from at least one polyisocyanate and at least one polyester polyol, wherein the isocyanate groups of the addition product have been blocked by reaction with at least one aromatic compound having at least one hydroxyl group. Such a polymer is suitable as an impact modifier in epoxy resin compositions, especially when they are used as adhesives or structural foams. The polymer improves the corrosion resistance and vertical expansion of the epoxy resin composition.
PUMPABLE, THERMALLY CURABLE AND EXPANDABLE PREPARATIONS
A thermally expandable preparation pumpable at application temperatures in the range of 50 to 120° C., is provided containing: at least one polymer selected from binary copolymers containing at least one monomer unit selected from vinyl acetate, (meth)acrylic acids, styrene and derivatives thereof, and terpolymers based on at least one first monomer selected from the monounsaturated or polyunsaturated hydrocarbons, and at least one second monomer selected from (meth)acrylic acids and derivatives thereof, and at least one third monomer selected from epoxy-functionalized (meth)acrylates, as well as combinations of the first two; at least one liquid polymer selected from liquid hydrocarbon resins, liquid polyolefins and liquid polymers based on one or more diene monomers; at least one peroxide; at least one thermally activatable blowing agent; and at least one adhesion promoter; as well as methods to stiffen/reinforce or seal structural components by application of the preparation.
ELECTROCONDUCTIVE MEMBER, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, AND DEVICE FOR FORMING ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE
The electrophotographic electroconductive member includes a support having an electroconductive outer surface, and an electroconductive layer on the surface of the support. The electroconductive layer has a matrix containing a crosslinked product of a first rubber, and domains dispersed in the matrix, and the domains each contain a crosslinked product of a second rubber and electroconductive particles. The matrix has a volume resistivity R1 of more than 1.0×10.sup.12 Ω.Math.cm, and the domains each have a volume resistivity R2 lower than the volume resistivity R1 of the matrix. The electroconductive layer further has a pore, and an inner wall of the pore is constituted by a part of the matrix and a part of the domains. The domains constituting the inner wall protrude into the pore at sites on the inner wall.
HIGHLY DISPERSIBLE METALLIC ACRYLATE COMPOSITION, PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF AND RESIN COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME
The present invention provides a highly dispersible metallic acrylate composition containing specific content of a graphene, a flake graphite or a combination thereof as a thermally conductive powder, and thus has better stability and dispersivity, which leads to advantages of low adhesion to the metal surface and ease of mixing in resin. Moreover, the metallic acrylate composition can be applied to resin composition as an auxiliary crosslinking coagent for enhancing mechanical strength and good uniformity of cell dispersion in the foamed product, such that the foamed products can be used as architectural materials, materials of daily commodities, vehicle materials, damping and cushioning materials, packing materials, sport pad materials, or shoe materials.
