Electrochemical Cells and Electrolytes Contained Therein
Gel polymer electrolyte compositions including a cross-linked three-dimensional polymer network and an electrolyte composition comprising an electrolyte and water are disclosed. The gel polymer electrolyte compositions can be included in an aqueous electrochemical cell, in which a gel polymer electrolyte can be positioned between an anode and a cathode. Methods of forming a gel polymer electrolyte in the form of a film, and methods of forming an aqueous electrochemical cell including a gel polymer electrolyte, are also disclosed.
POLYOL POLYESTER AND POLYHYDROXY ALKANE BLENDS WITH POLAR POLYMERS
Compounds that can be produced by a ring-opening reaction of epoxidized alkanes or epoxidized fatty acid esters having a molecular weight greater than 200 grams per mole are blended with polar polymers to improve the gloss of the polar polymers. These compounds include at least one polar functional group and are blended with polar polymers, or blends comprising at least one polar polymer, in order to improve the gloss of these polymers, such that they have suitable gloss right out of the manufacturing operation without the need for further painting or lamination steps. These compounds may also improve the impact strength of the polar polymers. Also disclosed are composite structures wherein an outer cap layer is made from the polar polymer blended with the gloss improving additive.
Composition of PBAT resin
The present invention discloses a PBAT resin composition comprising: (a) Poly (butyleneadipate-co-terephthalate); (b) a cyclic esterified product having a structure represented by the formula (I) ##STR00001## Wherein the content by weight of the cyclic esterified product is from 10 ppm to 2000 ppm, based on the total weight of the PBAT resin composition. In the present invention, the service life of the PBAT resin composition can be greatly extended by adding cyclic esterified product in the PBAT resin composition and controlling the content of the cyclic esterified product in the composition in the range of 10 ppm to 2000 ppm. And after boiled for 240 hours in 95% ethanol at 40 C., the film produced from blowing or the articles produced from injection have less surface precipitates, with excellent surface appearance properties.
