CROSS-LINKED POLYOLEFIN ELASTOMER FOAMS

A foam is formed from a composition comprising at least 50 wt.% of an ethylene/alphaolefin copolymer, an olefin block copolymer, or a blend thereof; from 30 wt.% to 50 wt.% of an E/X/Y/Z epoxy-containing ethylene interpolymer, where E is an ethylene monomer comprising greater than 50 wt.% of the interpolymer, X is an (meth)acrylate, alkyl (meth)acrylate, or vinyl acetate comprising from 0 to 40 wt.% of the interpolymer, Y is glycidyl methacrylate and comprises 0.5 to 13 wt.% of the interpolymer, and Z is a copolymer unit derived from comonomers selected from the group consisting of carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and acrylonitrile and comprises from 0 to 10 wt.% of the interpolymer; from 0.5 wt.% to 5 wt.% of a blowing agent; from 0.1 wt.% to 1 wt.% of an activator; and less than 0.05 wt.% of a curing agent.

ACRYLIC ADHESIVE SHEET, MEDICAL ADHESIVE TAPE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

Provided are: an acrylic adhesive sheet having a porous structure including a plurality of pores and having a water vapor transmission rate of 2,000 g/m.sup.2.Math.24 h to 3,500 g/m.sup.2.Math.24 h at 24° C. and 25% RH, and a porosity of 10% to 60%; and a medical adhesive tape including the same.

Hydrophilic compositions

A process of forming a cross-linked electronically active hydrophilic co-polymer is provided and includes the steps of: a. mixing an intrinsically electronically active material and at least one compound of formula (I) with water to form an intermediate mixture; b. adding at least one hydrophilic monomer, at least one hydrophobic monomer, and at least one cross-linker to the intermediate mixture to form a co-monomer mixture; and c. polymerising the co-monomer mixture. Hydrophilic compositions

A process of forming a cross-linked electronically active hydrophilic co-polymer is provided and includes the steps of: a. mixing an intrinsically electronically active material and at least one compound of formula (I) with water to form an intermediate mixture; b. adding at least one hydrophilic monomer, at least one hydrophobic monomer, and at least one cross-linker to the intermediate mixture to form a co-monomer mixture; and c. polymerising the co-monomer mixture. A color rubber composition for tires according to an embodiment contains a rubber component, a pigment other than black or white, a petroleum wax, and a white filler. The petroleum wax has a normal/iso ratio (mass ratio) of 70/30 to 90/10. The carbon number distribution for iso components in the whole petroleum wax is 1.0% or less for 25 or less carbon atoms, 4.0 to 8.0% for 26 to 32 carbon atoms, 5.0 to 15.0% for 33 to 44 carbon atoms, and 1.0% or more for 45 or more carbon atoms. The carbon number distribution for normal components in the whole petroleum wax is 5.0 to 18.0% for 25 or less carbon atoms, 40.0 to 48.0% for 26 to 32 carbon atoms, 15.0 to 27.5% for 33 to 44 carbon atoms, and 2.0% or more for 45 or more carbon atoms.
