Heavy-duty tire rubber compositions and tires
The invention provides a heavy-duty tire rubber composition excellent in wet grip performance and steering stability, and a tire tread, a bead filler, a tire belt and a heavy-duty tire which each partially include the composition. The heavy-duty tire rubber composition includes 100 parts by mass of a solid rubber (A), 0.1 to 50 parts by mass of a modified liquid diene rubber (B) having a functional group derived from a silane compound with a specific structure, and 20 to 200 parts by mass of a filler (C), the modified liquid diene rubber (B) satisfying the following (i) and (ii): (i) the weight average molecular weight (Mw) is not less than 1,000 and not more than 120,000, and (ii) the vinyl content is not less than 30 mol % and less than 70 mol %.

Photopolymerizable compositions including a polyurethane methacrylate polymer prepared using a polycarbonate diol, articles, and methods
The present disclosure provides a photopolymerizable composition. The photopolymerizable composition includes a) 40-60 parts by weight of a monofunctional (meth)acrylate monomer, per 100 parts of the total photopolymerizable composition; b) a photoinitiator; and c) a polymerization reaction product of components. A cured homopolymer of the monofunctional (meth)acrylate monomer has a glass transition temperature of 125 degrees Celsius or greater. The polymerization reaction product of components includes i) a diisocyanate; ii) a hydroxy functional methacrylate; iii) a polycarbonate diol; and iv) a catalyst. The polymerization reaction product includes a polyurethane methacrylate polymer. Often, the polyurethane methacrylate polymer has a weight average molecular weight of 8,000 g/mol or greater. The present disclosure further provides an article and methods thereof.
Photopolymerizable compositions including a polyurethane methacrylate polymer prepared using a polycarbonate diol, articles, and methods
The present disclosure provides a photopolymerizable composition. The photopolymerizable composition includes a) 40-60 parts by weight of a monofunctional (meth)acrylate monomer, per 100 parts of the total photopolymerizable composition; b) a photoinitiator; and c) a polymerization reaction product of components. A cured homopolymer of the monofunctional (meth)acrylate monomer has a glass transition temperature of 125 degrees Celsius or greater. The polymerization reaction product of components includes i) a diisocyanate; ii) a hydroxy functional methacrylate; iii) a polycarbonate diol; and iv) a catalyst. The polymerization reaction product includes a polyurethane methacrylate polymer. Often, the polyurethane methacrylate polymer has a weight average molecular weight of 8,000 g/mol or greater. The present disclosure further provides an article and methods thereof.
RUBBER COMPOSITION
A rubber composition, which exhibits an improved fatigue strength and stiffness performance compromise, is based on at least one elastomer matrix containing at least one polyisoprene and at least one copolymer containing ethylene units and diene units; a paraffin oil having a glass transition temperature of less than -75° C.; a reinforcing filler comprising carbon black; and a crosslinking system, in which the at least one polyisoprene and the at least one copolymer containing ethylene units and diene units represent more than 40% by weight of the elastomer matrix.
RUBBER COMPOSITION
A rubber composition, which exhibits an improved fatigue strength and stiffness performance compromise, is based on at least one elastomer matrix containing at least one polyisoprene and at least one copolymer containing ethylene units and diene units; a paraffin oil having a glass transition temperature of less than -75° C.; a reinforcing filler comprising carbon black; and a crosslinking system, in which the at least one polyisoprene and the at least one copolymer containing ethylene units and diene units represent more than 40% by weight of the elastomer matrix.
CURING ACCELERATOR FOR OXIDATIVELY POLYMERIZED UNSATURATED RESIN, PRINTING INK, AND PAINT
Provided are a curing accelerator for an oxidative polymerization type unsaturated resin having a high curing accelerating ability, and a printing ink and a coating material each including the curing accelerator for an oxidative polymerization type unsaturated resin. Specifically, there are provided a curing accelerator for an oxidative polymerization type unsaturated resin containing a metal salt (A) and an imidazole compound (B), a curing accelerator for an oxidative polymerization type unsaturated resin containing a metal salt (A), a ligand compound (C) and an imidazole compound (B), a curing accelerator for an oxidative polymerization type unsaturated resin containing a metal complex (D) and an imidazole compound (B), and a printing ink and a coating material using the curing accelerator for an oxidative polymerization type unsaturated resin.
FUNCTIONAL ETHYLENE AND 1,3-DIENE COPOLYMERS
The invention relates to a copolymer of ethylene and of a 1,3-diene of formula CH.sub.2═CR—CH═CH.sub.2, which copolymer bears an amine function, the symbol R representing a hydrocarbon chain having from 3 to 20 carbon atoms. Such a copolymer improves the compromise between the content of ethylene in the polymer, its crystallinity and the stiffness of a rubber composition containing it.
FUNCTIONAL ETHYLENE AND 1,3-DIENE COPOLYMERS
The invention relates to a copolymer of ethylene and of a 1,3-diene of formula CH.sub.2═CR—CH═CH.sub.2, which copolymer bears an amine function, the symbol R representing a hydrocarbon chain having from 3 to 20 carbon atoms. Such a copolymer improves the compromise between the content of ethylene in the polymer, its crystallinity and the stiffness of a rubber composition containing it.
