WATER DISPERSIBLE POLYAMIDE BUILDING BLOCKS
Water dispersible polyamides having carboxylic acid groups are disclosed. These are made by reacting polycarboxyl is acids or anhydrides thereof with amine containing monomer or an amide terminated polyamide under reaction conditions such that a few of the carboxylic acid groups are residual and can promote dispersion in water. These polyamides after dispersion can be chain extended to higher molecular weight polymers or can be terminally functionalized with reactive groups such as isocyanate, epoxy, vinyl, acetoacetonate, or silanol groups. Composites and hybrids of these polyamides with vinyl polymers are also disclosed and claimed.
WATER DISPERSION OF GEL PARTICLES, PRODUCING METHOD THEREOF, AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
A water dispersion of gel particles, in which the gel particles having a polymerizable group, having a three-dimensional crosslinked structure including at least one bond selected from a urethane bond and a urea bond, and including at least a photopolymerization initiator and a resin are dispersed in water, a method of producing the water dispersion, and an image forming method using the water dispersion.

According to an example aspect of the present invention, there is provided a composition comprising colloidal lignin particles and an epoxy compound.
Aqueous binder composition for lithium ion electrical storage devices
An electrode binder of a lithium ion secondary battery comprising an aqueous dispersion of: (a) a polyvinylidene binder; (b) a (meth)acrylic polymer dispersant; (c) a crosslinking agent comprising an aminoplast and/or a polycarbodiimide; and (d) an organic diluent. The (meth)acrylic polymer dispersant is prepared from a mixture of monomers comprising one or more carboxylic acid group-containing (meth)acrylic monomers and one or more hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acrylic monomers, and carboxylic acid groups on the (meth)acrylic polymer dispersant are at least partially neutralized with a base. The binder can be used in the assembly of electrodes of lithium ion secondary batteries.
CROSSLINKABLE REACTIVE SILICONE ORGANIC COPOLYMERS DISPERSIONS
An aqueous dispersion along with methods for producing and uses for the same. Where the aqueous dispersion includes crosslinkable reactive silicone organic copolymers of ethylenically unsaturated monomers and of ethylenically functionalized silicone polymers and is obtainable by means of radically initiated miniemulsion polymerization in an aqueous medium.
Polyolefin-acrylic particles
Provided is a dispersion of composite particles in an aqueous medium, wherein the composite particles comprise (I) a crosslinked polyolefin core, and (II) a full or partial shell comprising polymerized units of one of more vinyl monomers.
Matted polyamide-pud
Polymers are disclosed that incorporate portions of secondary or tertiary polyamide segments connected with polyisocyanates. These polymers have enhanced matting properties. The enhanced matting properties are from creating an inherently matt surface from the polymer without the use of any separate fine particle size matting additives. Conventional matting agents such as fine particle size silica usually results in loss of physical properties such as haze development and porosity in the coating from the matting agent. Composites and hybrids of these polymers and other polyamides, polyurethane with vinyl polymers (acrylates) are also disclosed and claimed.
ONE-COMPONENT HEAT-ACTIVATABLE POLYURETHANE WATER-BASED ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
