The invention relates to thermoplastic molding compositions (T) comprising 10 to 99% by weight, based on the total weight of the molding composition (T), of at least one type of recycled polymer material (A), containing 20 to 100% by weight, based on recycled material (A), of recycled acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (A1); up to 80% by weight of at least one recycled styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer (A2); up to 10% by weight of recycled polymeric impurities (A3), different from (A1) and (A2); 0.1 to 30% by weight, based on the total weight of the molding composition (T), of at least one graft copolymer (B), different from (A); 0.1 to 18% by weight, based on the molding composition (T), of block copolymer (C); and optionally up to 89.8% by weight of further polymer component (D), different from (A), (B) and (C); optionally up to 30% by weight of filler and/or reinforcing agent (E); and optionally up to 30% by weight of further additive (F).
POLYPROPYLENE COMPOSITION AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention discloses a polypropylene composition. A resin matrix is composed of copolymerized polypropylene and branched polyethylene with special parameters, such that the resin matrix has a low crystallization tendency, thereby improving spraying adhesion of a surface of the resin matrix. A polyolefin elastomer (POE) in bimodal distribution is further used to improve the appearance after molding.
HIGH-TOUGHNESS AND HIGH-STRENGTH WOOD-PLASTIC COMPOSITES AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The invention relates to the technical field of composites, in particular to a high-toughness and high-strength wood-plastic composite and a preparation method thereof. The wood-plastic composite is prepared from the following preparation raw materials in parts by mass: 30-50 parts of wood flour, 11-20 parts of high molecular weight polyethylene, 30-52 parts of polypropylene and 2-10 parts of an interface modifier. Polypropylene is used as a main component of a plastic matrix; high molecular weight polyethylene is used as a secondary component of the plastic matrix and has a toughening effect; wood flour is used as a filler to improve the strength of the wood-plastic composite; the interface modifier can improve the interface bonding between the wood flour and the plastic matrix, and all components have a synergistic effect, so that the obtained wood-plastic composite has high toughness and high strength.
RUBBER COMPOSITION AND A TIRE
In a first aspect, the present invention is directed to a rubber composition comprising 70 phr to 90 phr of styrene butadiene rubber, wherein said styrene butadiene rubber comprises a first styrene butadiene rubber having a glass transition temperature within a range of −49° C. to −15° C. and a second styrene butadiene rubber having a glass transition temperature within a range of −50° C. to −89° C. Furthermore, the rubber composition comprises from 10 phr to 30 phr of one or more of natural rubber and synthetic polyisoprene rubber, 100 phr to 200 phr of silica, and at least 25 phr of at least one terpene resin having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of at most 1000 g/mol. Moreover, the invention is directed to a tire comprising such a rubber composition, in particular in the tread of the tire.
Damping thermoplastic olefin elastomers
A thermoplastic elastomer compound includes polyolefin elastomer, high softening point tackifier, and, optionally, styrenic block copolymer. When styrenic block copolymer is present, the weight ratio of polyolefin elastomer to styrenic block copolymer is no less than about 1:1. The polyolefin elastomer has a POE Tan Delta Peak Temperature, the styrenic block copolymer has a SBC Tan Delta Peak Temperature, and the thermoplastic elastomer compound has a Compound Tan Delta Peak Temperature. The Compound Tan Delta Peak Temperature is greater than the POE Tan Delta Peak Temperature. When styrenic block copolymer is present, Compound Tan Delta Peak Temperature is also greater than the SBC Tan Delta Peak Temperature. The thermoplastic elastomer compound exhibits useful damping properties at or above room temperature and can be formed into plastic articles, including foamed plastic articles and/or crosslinked plastic articles, which can be useful for a variety of damping applications.
Crosslinked rubber composition
A crosslinked rubber composition contains a rubber component and para-aramid short fibers having a filament fineness of 2.5 dtex or more and dispersed in the rubber component.
RIGID POLYMERIC MODULAR FLOORING PLANK WITH CPVC AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A rigid polymeric modular flooring plank that contains chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) in the core or base layer. The rigid polymeric modular flooring plank has at least a polymeric core or base layer, a decorative layer, and a wear layer located above the decorative layer. The CPVC can offset the negative effects from any plasticizer present in the core layer, and thus permits the core layer to include plasticized material such as from recycled or reclaimed sources including rework and scrap materials. Methods of making the planks are further described. A method to control dimensional stability of a polymeric flooring plank is further described.
