POLYMER COMPOSITION FOR FILMS HAVING IMPROVED MECHANICAL PROPERTIES AND DEGRADABILITY
Polymeric composition comprising, with respect to the total composition: i) 30-95% by weight, preferably between 50-85% by weight with respect to the sum of components i)-vi), of at least one polyester comprising: a) a dicarboxylic component comprising, with respect to the total of the dicarboxylic component: a1) 30-70% by moles of units deriving from at least one aromatic dicarboxylic acid; a2) 70-30% by moles of units deriving from at least one saturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acid; a3) 0-5% by moles of units deriving from at least one unsaturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acid; b) a diol component comprising, with respect to the total diol component: b1) 95-100% by moles of units deriving from at least one saturated aliphatic diol; b2) 0-5% by moles of units deriving from at least one unsaturated aliphatic diol; ii) 0.1-50% by weight with respect to the sum of components i)-vi), of at least one polymer of natural origin; iii) 0.1-10% by weight with respect to the sum of components i)-vi) of at least one polyhydroxy alkanoate different from a lactic acid polyester referred to in point iv); iv) 0-3% by weight with respect to the sum of components i)-vi) of at least one lactic acid polyester; v) 0-1% by weight, preferably 0-0.5% by weight, with respect to the sum of the components i)-vi) of at least one cross-linking agent and/or a chain extender and/or hydrolytic stabilizer comprising at least one compound di- and/or polyfunctional containing isocyanate, peroxide, carbodiimide, isocyanurate, oxazoline, epoxide, anhydride, diviniether groups and mixtures of these; vi) 0-15% by weight, with respect to the sum of components i)-vi), of at least one inorganic filling agent.
Roofing compositions comprising linear low density polyethylene
Provided is a polymer blend composition comprising linear low density polyethylene, a propylene polymer generally having rubber dispersed therein, and a combination of a propylene copolymer and an ethylene copolymer. In one embodiment, there is provided a polymer blend composition comprising 15 to 75 weight percent of a propylene polymer having from 10-60% crystallinity, 30-50 weight percent of a linear low density polyethylene, and a combination of the propylene copolymer and the ethylene copolymer comprising the remainder of the composition.
Polyolefin-based resin composition for vehicle interior material comprising heat-treated waste coffee grounds
Disclosed is a polyolefin-based resin composition for a vehicle interior material including heat-treated waste coffee grounds. The resin composition includes a polyolefin-based resin, waste coffee grounds including a volatile matter (VM) in an amount less than about 20 wt % of the waste coffee grounds, a modified polypropylene, an inorganic filler, and a thermoplastic elastomer.
HETEROPHASIC PROPYLENE COPOLYMER COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a polymer composition comprising a first heterophasic propylene copolymer, a high density polyethylene, a second heterophasic propylene copolymer an inorganic filler and optionally a polyolefin based elastomer. The present invention further relates to a process for the preparation of said polymer composition. The present invention further relates to an article comprising such polymer composition. The polymer composition has high impact resistance and a good balance between impact resistance and warpage.
Polyolefin compositions, articles thereof, and methods thereof
The present disclosure relates to polymer compositions, articles formed from polymer compositions, methods of making polymer compositions, and methods of making articles including polymer compositions. In at least one embodiment, a composition includes: (1) an ethylene polymer, (2) a vinyl alcohol polymer or a polyamide, and (3) a polar polymer or a grafted polyolefin. A composition of the present disclosure may further include a polypropylene polymer. A polar polymer may be an ethylene-acrylic-acid-copolymer, ethylene acrylate copolymer, a polyvinyl acetate, or combination(s) thereof. In at least one embodiment, a film includes a composition having: (1) an ethylene polymer, (2) a vinyl alcohol polymer or a polyamide, and (3) a polar polymer or a grafted polyolefin.
Silicone composition
Provided is a silicone composition that has high thermal conductivity and favorable adhesion. A silicone composition that contains (A) 50-99.9 parts by mass of an organopolysiloxane that has at least two aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbon groups per molecule thereof and has a kinematic viscosity of 60-100,000 mm.sup.2/s at 25° C., (B) 0.1-50 parts by mass of a silicone resin that has at least one aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbon group per molecule thereof (provided that the total of components (A) and (B) is 100 parts by mass), (C) an organohydrogen polysiloxane, (D) 0.01-10.0 parts by mass of an organic peroxide that has a ten-hour half-life temperature of at least 40° C. per 100 total parts by mass of components (A) and (B), and (E) 100-3,000 parts by mass of a thermally conductive filler that has a thermal conductivity of at least 10 W/(m.Math.° C.) per 100 total parts by mass of components (A) and (B).
POLYPROPYLENE COMPOSITION
The invention is directed to a polypropylene composition, to a three-dimensional article comprising said polypropylene composition, and to the use of said composition for automotive articles. The polypropylene composition of the invention comprises: 40-90% by total weight of the composition of a polymer blend comprising polypropylene having a melt flow index as measured according to ISO 1133 at 230° C. and 2.16 kg of 2.0-100 g/10 min; 5-25% by total weight of the composition of one or more plastomers; 0.5-25% by total weight of the composition of mineral filler selected from the group consisting of phyllosilicates, mica or wollastonite; and 0.2-4% by total weight of the composition of glass fibres having an average fibre diameter in the range of 5-30 μm.
THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDED ARTICLE
The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition and a molded article manufactured thereofrom. In accordance with the present invention, a thermoplastic resin composition providing higher chemical resistance with respect to a blowing agent while providing the same impact strength, gloss, and vacuum moldability as existing resin compositions when used to produce an inner case of a refrigerator, and a molded article manufactured from the same are provided.
POLYOLEFIN-BASED COMPOSITIONS, ADHESIVES, AND RELATED MULTI-LAYERED STRUCTURES PREPARED THEREFROM
The present disclosure relates to polyolefin-based compositions made from or containing (A) a butene-1 polymer grafted with an unsaturated monomer, (B) a second polyolefin polymer, and (C) an ethylene-propylene elastomer. In some embodiments, the polyolefin-based composition is further made from or contains an additives composition. In additional embodiments, the polyolefin-based composition is made from or contains a heterophasic polypropylene copolymer.
