Container made from a thermoplastic molding composition comprising A) from 59.8 to 99.8% by weight of a polyester composed of from 30 to 100% by weight of a polybutylene terephthalate and 0 to 70% by weight of a polyester derived from 1,4-butanediol and a C.sub.2-12-aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and/or C.sub.6-12-cycloaliphatic dicarboxylic acid, B) 0.1 to 10% by weight of an oxidizable polyester-ether, C) 5 to 10000 weight-ppm of a salt of a transition metal, D) 0 to 40% by weight of other additional substances, where the total of the percentages by weight of components A) to B) is 100% by weight.

Charge roller

The present disclosure discloses a charge roller (1) particularly but not exclusively for charging a photoconductor in a liquid electro-photograph (LEP) image-forming apparatus. The charge roller includes a cured composition of an epichlorohydrin/ethylene oxide/allyl glycidyl ether terpolymer, a lithium salt and carbon black.

Golf ball

An object of the present invention is to provide a golf ball showing a great flight distance on driver shots. The present invention provides a golf ball comprising a spherical core and at least one cover layer covering the spherical core, wherein when JIS-C hardness of the spherical core is measured at points located at distances of 0% (core center), 37.5%, 75.0% and 100% (core surface) from the core center of the spherical core, a hardness difference (HsHo) between a surface hardness (Hs) thereof and a center hardness (Ho) thereof is 20 or more, a ratio ((H.sub.37.5Ho)/(H.sub.75.0Ho)) of a hardness difference (H.sub.37.5Ho) to a hardness difference (H.sub.75.0Ho) is 0.6 or less, and a compression deformation amount (D (mm)) of the spherical core and the 37.5% point hardness (H.sub.37.5) satisfy a relation of H.sub.37.59D+95.

One-component, curable coating compositions, processes for making and using them, and coatings and articles prepared with them
09683125 · 2017-06-20 · ·

Described are one-component, curable coating compositions that include (a) a polymer having a plurality of alkoxysilane groups; (b) a polyepoxide having a plurality of epoxide groups connected to a compound, oligomer, or polymer through ester linkages, ether linkages, or a combination of ester linkages and ether linkages; (c) a chelated metal alkoxide, in which the metal is aluminum, titanium, or zirconium, or a mixture of such chelated metal alkoxides; and (d) a monofunctional di- or trialkoxysilane compound, which may be volatile, with the proviso that the coating compositions are free of, or essentially free of, polymers with hydroxyl groups, primary amine groups, and secondary amine groups (i.e., amine groups with at least one active hydrogen, >NH). These one-component, curable coating compositions do not require any additional ingredients to be mixed in before application, are storage stable with do not build viscosity during use (in other words, in use the pot-life is not shortened by crosslinking of internal components) so that excess material can be reused, yet the coating composition provides ambient cure when applied in a coating layer and exposed to moisture (i.e., atmospheric water vapor).
