A conductive polymeric composition includes, based on a total weight of the conductive polymeric composition, 0.1 wt % to 10 wt % of carbon nanotubes, 0.2 wt % to 4 wt % of a first component, 0.1 wt % to 4 wt % of a second component made by esterification of a C.sub.16-C.sub.30 fatty acid with a polyol compound, and the balance being a polymeric component. When the first component is a first polymer obtained from polycondensation of an aromatic diacid compound and an aliphatic glycol compound, the polymeric component is a polyester. When the first component is a second polymer obtained from polycondensation of a lactam compound, a diamine compound and a dicarboxylic acid compound, the polymeric component is a polyamide.

The invention relates to a phosphorous containing monomer and a process thereof. Furthermore, the invention relates to a phosphorous containing polymer comprising said monomer and a production process thereof. The phosphorous containing polymer of the invention is useful as flame-retardant polymer. Additionally, the invention relates to a thermoplastic polymer composition comprising said phosphorous containing polymer and optionally a further thermoplastic polymer. The thermoplastic polymer composition can be used for the production of molded articles or yarns having excellent flame-retardant properties in order to ensure adequate fire protection.
REACTIVE PHOSPOROUS CONTANING FLAME RETARDANT AND INTRINSICALLY FLAME RETARDANT POLYMER OBTAINABLE BY POLYCONDENSATION WITH IT
The invention relates to a phosphorous containing monomer and a process thereof. Furthermore, the invention relates to a phosphorous containing polymer comprising said monomer and a production process thereof. The phosphorous containing polymer of the invention is useful as flame-retardant polymer. Additionally, the invention relates to a thermoplastic polymer composition comprising said phosphorous containing polymer and optionally a further thermoplastic polymer. The thermoplastic polymer composition can be used for the production of molded articles or yarns having excellent flame-retardant properties in order to ensure adequate fire protection.
Moulding composition comprising polyether block amide
A moulding composition contains a) 75 wt. % to 98.5 wt. % of a polyether block amide, based on a total weight of the moulding composition. The polyether block amide contains a subunit 1, composed of at least one lactam or α,ω-aminocarboxylic acid having 6 to 14 carbon atoms, and a subunit 2, composed of at least one amino- or hydroxy-terminated polyether having at least two carbon atoms per ether oxygen and at least two primary amino or at least two hydroxy groups at the chain ends. The moulding composition also contains b) 1.5 wt. % to 25 wt. % of at least one polyalkenamer, based on a total weight of the moulding composition. The at least one polyalkenamer contains at least one cycloalkene having 5 to 12 carbon atoms. A moulded article can be produced from the moulding composition, which can be a moulding, a film, a bristle, a fibre or a foam.

A moulding composition contains a) 75 wt. % to 98.5 wt. % of a polyether block amide, based on a total weight of the moulding composition. The polyether block amide contains a subunit 1, composed of at least one lactam or α,ω-aminocarboxylic acid having 6 to 14 carbon atoms, and a subunit 2, composed of at least one amino- or hydroxy-terminated polyether having at least two carbon atoms per ether oxygen and at least two primary amino or at least two hydroxy groups at the chain ends. The moulding composition also contains b) 1.5 wt. % to 25 wt. % of at least one polyalkenamer, based on a total weight of the moulding composition. The at least one polyalkenamer contains at least one cycloalkene having 5 to 12 carbon atoms. A moulded article can be produced from the moulding composition, which can be a moulding, a film, a bristle, a fibre or a foam.

A structurally supported non-pneumatic tyre comprises a tread, an annular band, a plurality of spokes extending transversely and radially inside the annular band, and means for connecting the plurality of spokes to a wheel, characterized in that the spokes comprise a polymeric composition based on at least one polymeric matrix comprising 50 to 70% of one or more thermoplastic polymers, the glass transition temperature (Tg) of which is within a range extending from 120 to 250° C. and 30 to 50% of one or more thermoplastic elastomers, said thermoplastic elastomer(s) being compatible with said thermoplastic polymer(s), such that the elongation at break of the mixture of these polymers is greater than or equal to the elongation at break of the thermoplastic polymer(s) alone.

The present disclosure relates to polymer compositions, articles formed from polymer compositions, methods of making polymer compositions, and methods of making articles including polymer compositions. In at least one embodiment, a composition includes: (1) an ethylene polymer, (2) a vinyl alcohol polymer or a polyamide, and (3) a polar polymer or a grafted polyolefin. A composition of the present disclosure may further include a polypropylene polymer. A polar polymer may be an ethylene-acrylic-acid-copolymer, ethylene acrylate copolymer, a polyvinyl acetate, or combination(s) thereof. In at least one embodiment, a film includes a composition having: (1) an ethylene polymer, (2) a vinyl alcohol polymer or a polyamide, and (3) a polar polymer or a grafted polyolefin.
