Provided are a dyeing composition which contains an azo coloring agent represented by Formula 1 or 2, a dyed product which is obtained by being dyed with the dyeing composition, and a novel azo coloring agent. In Formulae 1 and 2, C.sup.1 represents a heteroaromatic group, A.sup.1 and B.sup.1 each independently represent a heteroaromatic group, an aromatic group, or a group having a methine structure, and at least one of A.sup.1 or B.sup.1 represents a heteroaromatic group, D.sup.1 represents an anthraquinonyl group, and E.sup.1 represents a heteroaromatic group, an aromatic group, or a group having a methine structure.

The present invention relates to an ink comprising: a solvent having a relative permittivity, measured at a frequency of 1 kHz and a temperature of 22 C., of 3 or less and a solubility in water at 25 C. of 20 mg/L or less; and a specific azo compound.
