A cured film, a color filter, a pattern forming method, a method for manufacturing a color filter, a solid-state imaging device, and an image display device, each using the coloring composition, are also provided. The colorant composition includes a colorant, a resin, and a pigment derivative, in which the colorant contains a halogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment, the content of the colorant with respect to the total solid content in the coloring composition is 50% by mass or more, and the content of the Group 2 element ions with respect to the mass of the halogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment is 30 ppm by mass to 300 ppm by mass.
