Inorganic material composition and utilities thereof
Inorganic particulate compositions containing inorganic particles associated with a copolymer of a hydrophilic monomer and a hydrophobic monomer associated with the inorganic particles are provided. The particulate composition satisfies at least one of the following properties: a BET surface area of the inorganic particles is greater than 8 m.sup.2/g, a Hegman value of the inorganic particles is 75 microns or less, and a rate of water loss from the composition upon drying from a moisture level greater than 2% wt % is at least 30% greater than a composition having a corresponding content of a polyacrylate polymer associated with the particles. A method to prepare the composition and formulations for inks, paints, coatings and filled polymeric articles containing the inorganic particulate composition are also provided.

INK COMPOSITIONS
An ink composition contains a semi-drying solvent; a pigment; an alkyd resin; and an amine-based polymeric dispersant. The composition contains 5 wt% or more of the alkyd resin, based on the total weight of the composition, and 5 wt% or more of the amine-based polymeric dispersant, based on the total weight of the composition.
INK COMPOSITIONS
An ink composition contains a semi-drying solvent; a pigment; an alkyd resin; and an amine-based polymeric dispersant. The composition contains 5 wt% or more of the alkyd resin, based on the total weight of the composition, and 5 wt% or more of the amine-based polymeric dispersant, based on the total weight of the composition.
RESIN COMPOSITION FOR AQUEOUS INK
A resin composition for an aqueous ink includes a base resin, an aqueous dispersion medium, and an emulsifier. The base resin includes a rosin-modified alkyd resin. The emulsifier includes an anionic emulsifier and a nonionic emulsifier. The anionic emulsifier includes an oxyalkylene-containing anionic emulsifier. An HLB value of the nonionic emulsifier is 16.0 or more and 20.0 or less.
RESIN COMPOSITION FOR AQUEOUS INK
A resin composition for an aqueous ink includes a base resin, an aqueous dispersion medium, and an emulsifier. The base resin includes a rosin-modified alkyd resin. The emulsifier includes an anionic emulsifier and a nonionic emulsifier. The anionic emulsifier includes an oxyalkylene-containing anionic emulsifier. An HLB value of the nonionic emulsifier is 16.0 or more and 20.0 or less.
Plasma-curable offset printing ink composition, method for producing printed matter using same, and printing method
A plasma-curable ink composition for offset printing having high reactivity with plasma and capable of being hardened into a sufficiently dried state even in the use of plasma generated by a remote-type plasma generator, and a method for producing printed matter and a method for printing information using the same. The plasma-curable ink composition for offset printing comprises a pigment, a binder resin, and at least one specific ingredient selected from the group consisting of castor oil, polymerized oil, and alkyd resins having an acid value of 10 mg KOH/g or more.

A plasma-curable ink composition for offset printing having high reactivity with plasma and capable of being hardened into a sufficiently dried state even in the use of plasma generated by a remote-type plasma generator, and a method for producing printed matter and a method for printing information using the same. The plasma-curable ink composition for offset printing comprises a pigment, a binder resin, and at least one specific ingredient selected from the group consisting of castor oil, polymerized oil, and alkyd resins having an acid value of 10 mg KOH/g or more.
Etch-resistant inkjet inks for manufacturing printed circuit boards
A radiation curable inkjet ink including an adhesion promoter including (1) at least one a free radical polymerizable group selected from the group consisting of an acrylate, a methacrylate, an acryl amide and a methacryl amide; (2) at least one aliphatic tertiary amine; and (3) at least one carboxylic acid or salt thereof with the proviso that the carboxylic acid is linked to an aliphatic tertiary amine via a divalent linking group selected from the group consisting of an optionally substituted methylene group and an optionally substituted ethylene group.
Etch-resistant inkjet inks for manufacturing printed circuit boards
A radiation curable inkjet ink including an adhesion promoter including (1) at least one a free radical polymerizable group selected from the group consisting of an acrylate, a methacrylate, an acryl amide and a methacryl amide; (2) at least one aliphatic tertiary amine; and (3) at least one carboxylic acid or salt thereof with the proviso that the carboxylic acid is linked to an aliphatic tertiary amine via a divalent linking group selected from the group consisting of an optionally substituted methylene group and an optionally substituted ethylene group.
