Interlayers comprising polyesteramide compositions
The present application discloses interlayers comprising novel polyesteramides comprising diols with tunable properties based on the monomers and monomer ratios used to prepare the polyesteramides and varying the reaction conditions. The interlayers have improved properties and can be used in many different applications.

A coating composition includes alkaline mineral particles including an oxide of an alkaline earth metal and an amine-containing polymer. The amine-containing polymer is adsorbed on the alkaline mineral particles. Forming a coating composition includes at least partially coating alkaline mineral particles with an amine-containing polymer and dispersing the alkaline mineral particles in a liquid to yield the coating composition. The alkaline mineral particles include an oxide of an alkaline earth metal.
SELF-MINERALIZING MULTIFUNCTIONAL COATING COMPOSITION
A coating composition includes alkaline mineral particles including an oxide of an alkaline earth metal and an amine-containing polymer. The amine-containing polymer is adsorbed on the alkaline mineral particles. Forming a coating composition includes at least partially coating alkaline mineral particles with an amine-containing polymer and dispersing the alkaline mineral particles in a liquid to yield the coating composition. The alkaline mineral particles include an oxide of an alkaline earth metal.
Thermosetting powder coating compositions having lower chalk-free temperature
Thermosetting powder coating compositions and processes for making the thermosetting powder coating compositions and processes for coating an article with the thermosetting powder coating compositions are disclosed. Cured thermosetting powder coating compositions are obtained by curing of the thermosetting powder coating compositions of the invention. Articles are provided having coated thereon the thermosetting powder coating compositions as well as to articles having coated and cured thereon the thermosetting powder coating compositions. The thermosetting powder coating compositions exhibit a substantially lower T.sub.chalk-free, that is a ΔT.sub.chalk-free which is in the range of from and including 5 up to and not including 10° C., wherein ΔT.sub.chalk-free=T.sub.chalk-free.sup.REF−T.sub.chalk-free.sup.A where T.sub.chalk-free.sup.A is the T.sub.chalk-free of a thermosetting powder coating composition according to the invention (TPCC-A) and T.sub.chalk-free.sup.REF is the T.sub.chalk-free of a thermosetting powder coating composition not according to the invention (TPCC-REF) that is comparable to TPCC-A.

Thermosetting powder coating compositions and processes for making the thermosetting powder coating compositions and processes for coating an article with the thermosetting powder coating compositions are disclosed. Cured thermosetting powder coating compositions are obtained by curing of the thermosetting powder coating compositions of the invention. Articles are provided having coated thereon the thermosetting powder coating compositions as well as to articles having coated and cured thereon the thermosetting powder coating compositions. The thermosetting powder coating compositions exhibit a substantially lower T.sub.chalk-free, that is a ΔT.sub.chalk-free which is in the range of from and including 5 up to and not including 10° C., wherein ΔT.sub.chalk-free=T.sub.chalk-free.sup.REF−T.sub.chalk-free.sup.A where T.sub.chalk-free.sup.A is the T.sub.chalk-free of a thermosetting powder coating composition according to the invention (TPCC-A) and T.sub.chalk-free.sup.REF is the T.sub.chalk-free of a thermosetting powder coating composition not according to the invention (TPCC-REF) that is comparable to TPCC-A.
VISCOSITY MODIFIER AND FILM-FORMING AGENT CONTAINING SAME
A viscosity modifier is thermally stable and can provide an excellent viscosity-increasing effect and/or an anti-sagging effect, and is used by the addition to a paint, a coating agent, a painting agent, a flux, an adhesive material, and a sealing material that are produced/used under high temperature conditions. A film-forming agent contains the viscosity modifier including a polyamide component that contains a polyamide compound from a C2-10 aliphatic and/or C6-10 aromatic primary diamine and a C12-36 polybasic acid and/or a C12-30 unsubstituted or hydroxy-substituted aliphatic monocarboxylic acid. The film-forming agent contains the viscosity modifier and a film-forming component and is at least any one selected from a paint, a coating material, a painting material, a flux, an adhesive material, and a sealing material.

The curable clear coat component comprises A) a polyaspartic acid ester or a hydroxyl functional binder or a combination of both, and B) an antioxidant component comprising B1) a sterically hindered phenol antioxidant, and B2) an organophosphite antioxidant.
