Articles including a surface spreading agent, oilfield water storage systems that employ the articles, and methods of managing an oilfield water storage system are provided herein. In an embodiment, an article includes a film-forming composition and a densifying agent. The film-forming composition includes a surface spreading agent present in an amount of at least 5 weight %, based on the total weight of the film-forming composition. The densifying agent has a higher density than water and the surface spreading agent. The film-forming composition is packaged in an impervious material.

WATER-BASED HYDROGEL BLEND COATING AND METHOD OF APPLICATION TO ELASTOMERIC ARTICLES

A water-based hydrogel polymer coating and a method of application to natural rubber or other elastomeric latex products are provided. The water-based hydrogel polymer is mixed with a blend of at least one elastomeric material to provide a hydrogel polymer blend composition. The water-based hydrogel polymer blend composition is applied in a single application to an elastomeric article, such as gloves, without additional solvents in the polymer blend composition and without a separate acid or chemical priming step. The water-based hydrogel coating herein provides increased lubricity to facilitate improved wet and dry donning of the elastomeric article.

The present invention relates to a composition, comprising a binder resin, a block copolymer which comprises at least a block A and a block B, wherein the block A comprises monomer units derived from a compound selected from (meth)acrylic acid, a (meth)acrylic acid ester, a (meth)acrylamide, a vinyl aromatic compound, or any mixture thereof, the block B comprises monomer units derived from a compound selected from a fluorinated (meth)acrylic ester having the following formula (I): H.sub.2CC(R.sub.1)(C(0)OR.sub.F-1), wherein R1 is H or methyl; and R.sub.F-1 is an organic residue containing a perfluorinated C.sub.4-6 alkyl group, a fluorinated alpha-olefin having the following formula (II): H.sub.2CCH(R.sub.F-2) (II) wherein R.sub.F-2 is an organic residue containing a perfluorinated C.sub.4-6 alkyl group, i.e. (CF.sub.2).sub.3-5CF.sub.3 or any mixture thereof.

The functional material comprises inorganic powder provided with modifying layer on the surface, the inorganic powder comprising any one or more selected from the group consisting of aluminum oxide, magnesium oxide, zinc oxide, zirconium oxide, silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide, boron oxide, iron sesquioxide, calcium oxide, potassium oxide, sodium oxide, lithium oxide; and the modifying layer being formed by the reaction of a dianhydride and a diamine. The curable resin composition of the present invention contains the above functional material. The film and display device comprise a transparent film layer formed by the curing of the above-mentioned curable resin composition.

Lamination of the film on a glass-containing upper electrode of a touch screen display prevents scattering of glass fragments produced by breakage of the upper electrode, occurrence of water marks, and sparkling on a high-definition display provided with the film.
